Welcome to our Blissful Butte Retreat, a recently renovated 3-bedroom cabin in Moonridge offering the best of both worlds: a serene setting just off the main road, and all the modern comforts you could wish for. Year-round fun awaits! Kids will love playing hide-and-seek in the summer, and come winter, the cabin boasts access to Big Bear's best private sledding hill. All this, just a two-minute drive from Dank Donuts, Bear Mountain, and the Big Bear Zoo.
Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern yet retro green appliances, giving it a funky, cozy feel. It's well-stocked for all your cooking needs and includes a full-size fridge. A convenient slider leads to a side deck with a gas grill for easy outdoor cooking.
Indoor Living & Entertainment: Living Room: Unwind on the big cozy couch by the svelte fireplace. Enjoy movie nights on the new 65" OLED TV with streaming options and a wide selection of DVDs. Large sliders open directly to the deck, allowing you to easily blend indoor comfort with outdoor fresh air.
Sleeping & Bathrooms: Master Bedroom: Drift off in a comfortable King Bed. This room features a large closet and dresser, plus a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows offering tranquil views of the surrounding woods. A cozy sitting chair provides the ideal spot for morning coffee or a relaxing nightcap.
Guest Bedroom: Enjoy a peaceful night's rest in the Queen Bed, with ample storage in the closet and dresser.
Kids Bedroom: Fun for the little ones! This room has two twin bunk beds, accommodating up to four kids, and a blow-up mattress is available for larger families. You'll also find lots of toys to keep them entertained.
Bathrooms: With two bathrooms, one on each floor, getting ready is a breeze for the whole family.
Game Room: Get ready for some fun! This dedicated space features a pool table, a charming breakfast nook with a table and cushioned-bench seating, and a homemade, old-school arcade machine. A wet bar adds to the entertainment, and a cozy corner chair under the American flag is perfect for relaxing and birdwatching.
Conveniences & Outdoor Fun Conveniences: Enjoy the quiet operation of the washer and dryer located right under the house, so you can do laundry without disturbance. Toss in damp ski gear before bed and wake up to it dry! Unlike many Big Bear rentals, you won't need to haul your trash to the dump – simply use our outdoor trash can.
Outdoor Space: Step out onto the huge, ~900 sqft deck space, complete with a gas firepit surrounded by comfortable outdoor furniture. The gas grill is conveniently located right off the kitchen. There's lots of room for kids to run around or ride scooters. And when it snows, our cabin offers an unmatched, private sledding spot right outside!

*Parking Instructions: Park in the driveway, sorry no street parking is allowed. The driveway is a touch steep at the beginning. Best to come up the right side of the driveway when facing the cabin.
*The portable A/C units are in the guest closet. You simply connect the hose to the back of the portable unit and put the other end to the window. Operations are on the unit itself.
*Amenities for Babies and/or young children: Pack N Play in the 2nd (Guest) Bedroom closet Baby Gates in the 2nd (Guest) Bedroom closet Children's books downstairs in the game room Highchair for little kids (but not babies) in the kitchen Please remember these rules are mandated and imposed solely by the CITY and our PERMIT/ORDINANCE which requires property management companies to notify all guests that the CITY requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the rental agreement app a copy of Governmental ID that matches the name on the reservation. Please notate these and all rules regarding spa hours, trash removal, noise and dishes being washed are due to our permit and not our rules so please keep this in mind before booking as some guests rate us based on rules we must abide by to rent. We appreciate that they are unique rules please do not review us based on the reviews we need to follow, we appreciate it. The code cannot be sent until this agreement is filled out.
(1) Maximum vehicles and guest occupancy permitted is described in the listing. Any violation is subject to eviction and/or cancellation of your stay. If you need additional parking, please contact us directly.
(2) Big Bear Lake does not allow street parking; they will tow any vehicles parked on the street and any towing fees or fines issued are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
(3) Excessive noise or loud music heard at the property line is prohibited by the CITY for the consideration of the local residents. The CITY enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM and will send out code enforcement officers to issue fines/and or evict guests for any violations reported. There will be a $300 administrative fine per Code Call for our team to show up as we are required to attend such code call within 30 minus, plus $100 per hour of our time spent for the violation. This is IN ADDITION to any fines issued by Code Enforcement which start at $500 to $5000 per violation.
(4) Dishes - All dishes must be cleaned before leaving and the house must be left in the same condition that you found it in. Any dirty dishes left in the kitchen are subject to a $45 fee- our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law this includes leaving dishes with food on them or left in the home. It also attracts vermin. Please note this is part of our permit and not included in cleaning the home after guests leave.
(5) Any bags or trash left behind in the bathroom, kitchen (including leaving behind items in the fridge, or around the house is subject to a $25 per bag for removal. Please make sure all trash is bagged and tightly secured inside the bins and the lids are shut tight. Any trash left inside the home will be subject to a fee.
(6) Barbecue- Propane is offered on the honor system on any firepit or BBQ. Please do not leave the firepit or BBQ on unattended. Please clean the BBQ after use. If by chance the propane runs out, please let us know and we will send someone to replace it. Please make sure all propane is turned off after use. Big Bear does not allow the use of charcoal of lighter fluid. Please be advised if you run out of propane and it is after hours we cannot promise after hours refills late at night as the stores may not be open.
(7) Pet- The home is strictly not pet friendly as the owners have severe allergies. Any violation is subject to eviction and a $3500 fine plus damages to the home will be charged.
(8) Parties or noise ordinance calls – any parties, events, unauthorized guests or noise complaints will result in immediate eviction with no refund. Any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction.
(9) No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages plus immediate eviction and subject to code call fines.
(10) No smoking, vaping or drugs inside our cabins at any time. Any evidence of violation is grounds for immediate eviction from the cabin and a $3500 plus damages found at the home.
(11) Please refrain from bringing your own BBQs, Firepits and or outside cooking devices are banned by the CITY due to the fire safety hazards. This is subject to eviction due to this is how fires start.
(12) The Mountain community area does not have air conditioning, and the availability of fans may vary depending on the property description. High temperatures or heat will not be grounds for a refund, as many cabins do not include air conditioning unless specifically stated.
(13) Due to the mountain location, Big Bear and the surrounding areas are known to have occasional power and internet outages due to circumstances beyond our control. Power outages are usually brief, lasting a few hours or less and the city always tries to work quickly to get it back up and running. There are no refunds at anytime for power or internet outages due to normal mountain conditions, as these are beyond our control.
