Bear Pine Lodge sits on a wooded hillside in Big Bear City, where the pines open up just enough to show off the mountains and the valley below. Mornings start slowly on the deck with coffee and cold, clean air. Evenings tend to end in the hot tub, with the sky going pink and gold over the ridgeline before the stars take over.

Inside, the home leans into classic mountain lodge style. Knotty pine covers the walls, vaulted ceilings open up the main living area, and a stone fireplace anchors the room as its centerpiece. Big windows bring the forest right inside, so the trees are part of the scenery from nearly every seat. The kitchen is bright and easy to cook in, with white cabinetry, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances, and a wood dining table nearby gives the whole group a place to sit down together. A washer and dryer handle the snowy boots and damp lake towels.

With four bedrooms, a loft, and three bathrooms, there's room for families and friend groups without anyone drawing the short straw. The primary bedroom has a king bed, a twin bed, a TV, and a window framing the mountains. The second bedroom has a queen, and the third has a queen over a twin bunk bed that works well for kids or flexible sleeping. The fourth bedroom has two queen beds and an arcade, which usually makes it the most requested room in the house. Up top, the loft looks out over the living room and doubles as its own hangout, with a sofa, a TV, and two twin beds for extra guests.

Outside is where Bear Pine Lodge really earns its keep. Multiple levels of wood decking step around the home, set up with Adirondack chairs, a fire pit table, outdoor dining, and a BBQ grill for easy dinners under the trees. The hot tub sits tucked in among the pines, ready for sore legs after a day on the slopes or the trails.

The location works in every season. In winter, Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are a short drive away for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. In summer, the lake is close by for boating, paddleboarding, and fishing, and the surrounding national forest is full of hiking and mountain biking trails. Big Bear Village is also an easy drive when you want a night out, with local restaurants, shops, and seasonal events along Pine Knot Avenue. - Central heat —AC is not central, but there are two portable units (one in primary and one in loft over living room). No elevator.
- During winter months, vehicles are required to carry chains at all times.
- Trash should never be left outside or in cars --- local wildlife will get into it.
- The closet in the main floor guest bedroom is used as a linen closet and not available for guest use.
- Please note that all persons, including infants, children, and visitors, count toward the home's total occupancy. Guests cannot exceed the permitted occupancy at any time.

Parking Details:
- Parking is limited to 2 garage + 3 driveway spaces (5 cars max).
- No street parking allowed.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
