"Overall stay was nice and conveniently located super close to swimming in Lake Superior and a lot of hiking trails. Only suggestion for improvement I had was maybe making it super clear in listing that this is a split unit with an upstairs unit and downstairs. "We had an amazing week, definitely one of our favorite adventures! The cabin is very neat, clean and has everything you need for a week away. The property surrounding the cabin is absolutely beautiful, it’s so quiet and peaceful. The location of the cabin is perfect for exploring waterfalls, Lake Superior and the Porcupine Mountains. Charlie is quick to respond to questions and he goes above & beyond to make sure you have everything you need. We will definitely be back for another week soon! "

"Nice place with plenty of room. The kitchen was clean and even had an air fryer and blender. The queen bed was a bit soft for my taste but that is a preference not a requirement. The local bakery, Bread of Life, had wonderful pastries and pasties. Joe checked in with us a couple times just to be sure everything was great. And it was. We were near plenty of great places to hike and enjoy the area. If we come back to this part of the UP, we will be checking here again. "

"The chalet was exactly as described. We found our accommodations perfect for us. We thought we could walk to Lift 1 at Powderhorn, but the road was pretty fast and we didn’t feel comfortable so we did end up driving each day for snowboarding. "As my wife put it, this place was a perfect mix of things she likes (especially a dark bedroom) and I like (especially the skylight bedroom). Beyond the bedrooms we both enjoyed the spacious common areas, the rooftop patio, the hot tub, everything was perfect.
