"Very nice remote place with a very nice host"

"Lovely house in a beautiful place. Located near the city with many supermarkets to make the fill of the fridge, but located far enough in the middle of the countryside, keeping calm charm and authenticity. For kids it was just perfect. There were, pong table, foot table, soccer pitch in the garden, tyrolean traverse were just incredible. The swimming pool was big enough for everybody and the terrace in the middle of the garden was just amazing, we were always eating there, we have never eaten...

"Ein wunderschönes Haus und traumhafter Garten, der verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten bietet um sich zu entspannen oder mit den Kindern verstecken zu spielen. Der Pool ist sehr gross und schön um sich zwischendurch abzukühlen. Lorena und Roberto sind wunderbare Gastgeber: sehr diskret und doch versuchen sie einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Sie haben uns lokale Köstlichkeiten offeriert und abends ein Feuer im Garten angezündet. Alles in allem, ein unvergesslicher Urlaub!"

"Property was beautiful and more than sufficent for a large family. It was clean and has most of what you would need for a relaxing stay. The various locations from the house to the patio to the pool and garden allowed for a new setting every day. It is a wonderful place to rest, relax, and get away from it all."

"We had 11 people for a wonderful week stay at La casa di Daniela. There was amble room for everyone, with a wonderful outside area to dine and an addtional area to sit and chat. The grounds were lovely. The pool looked enticing but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we never were unable to take advantage of the pool.We hired a chief, suggested by our host for the first night, who was great. "We didn't miss anything. Simply perfect."

"Sehr schön eingerichtetes, großzügiges Haus mit tollen alten Möbeln. Alles, was man braucht, ist da. Die Landschaft ist ebenfalls sehr schön, vom Pool hat man einen tollen Blick. Salsomaggiore ist ein hübsches Städtchen. Einziges Manko ist der unbefestigte Weg zum Haus, den man aber mit etwas Übung bewältigen kann."

"The staff were truly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and the self check-in process was smooth and very convenient — definitely a great feature. That said, there were a few aspects that didn’t quite meet our expectations. The heater wasn’t working properly on the first night, switching on and off frequently, which made it a bit difficult to sleep comfortably due to both the cold and the noise. The minibar is quite small — we couldn’t even fit more than one regular water bottle inside, so it’s something to keep in mind. The shower could have been better as well, and breakfast felt quite limited. While there was a Nespresso machine available, a proper espresso option would’ve been nice, especially in Italy. It’s also worth noting that the parking isn’t private — it’s in a public plaza right in front of the property, so keep that in mind if you're arriving by car. All in all, there were some lovely elements to our stay, especially the hospitality and check-in process, but a few improvements to comfort and amenities would make the experience much more enjoyable."
