New in Summer 2019, a fabulous renovated officially rated 4 star Gîte attached to Moulin Toucan with private parking, garden and terrace, and a private pool with decked surround. Close to Limoges airport and the picturesque town of Bellac, this 3 bedroom Gîte is fully furnished with 2 double beds, 2 twin beds and a pull out sofa making it possible to sleep up to 8 people. All facilities are for the exclusive use of the guests.

The property is on the ground level, with comfortable access from the car parking, throughout the garden and within the Gîte.

The stone construction of the Gîte means it remains comfortably cool during the hot summer days and nights.

The lounge and dining areas are very comfortable, and the new, fully equipped kitchen has everything for your catering needs.

All bedrooms have high quality mattresses and bedding, to ensure you enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep. The Gîte also has full facilities to accommodate a baby, on request.

The modern bathroom is equipped with a vanity unit, mirror, light and has a combination bath/shower, washbasin and toilet and an additional toilet in the laundry room for guests convenience whilst using the pool and garden.


The garden has been designed for maximum versatility with an exterior dining area, shaded relaxation area, BBQ “kitchen”, play area and of course, the private pool and sunbathing deck. For the sun-worshipers, the pool area benefits from direct sunshine throughout the day. For those wishing to escape the heat, the cool area next to the river is ideal to sit and enjoy a drink, listen to music and read a book. You might also be lucky and spot the local Kingfisher as it looks for a meal in the river under the trees. An ideal spot to unwind and relax alongside the calming and relaxing sound of nature and the river.

There are some easy walks around the Gîte of various categories ranging from a nice stroll along the river to more challenging rambles in and around Mont de Blond, which is also great for mountain biking.

Locally, there are some very authentic bars and restaurants to cater for all budgets, although you will need a car to benefit from these! There are also tourist attractions nearby ranging from museums and shopping in Limoges and Poitiers, the sobering wartime memorial at Aradour-sur-Glane, a variety of water sports at Lac de Saint-Pardoux , kayaking at Exideuil on the River Vienne and a waterpark at Poitiers.
