"The Air Conditioning worked well. The parking lot was large providing ample parking. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Considering it was one of the least expensive hotels in the Toledo, Ohio area, this hotel passed most tests with flying colors. I stayed for a total of 7 nights. One criticism that I have has to do with the hotel keys. These "key", are rectangular plastic cards that are programmed by the staff to open a given hotel room. "At this time, the only thing I would say is, they need to have scrambled eggs or another form of cooked eggs and not just hard boiled, plus need sausage or bacon or some type of meat with the breakfast. When I was setting to have the morning breakfast, I would hear other guest stating the same thing multiple times over my 4 days staying there. La Quinta, listed to your guest and change your breakfast. Overall, it was an average stay."

"Do not stay here!! There is a "gentlemen's club" next door. Cars in the parking lot had broken windows. Looked like someone trying to break into them. In the 24 minutes we were there, we saw at least 3 very questionable people who I'm guessing worked at the gentleman's club. After checking in and walking to the room, I walked back to the front desk, turned in my room keys, and left. Did not get my refund for the $100 it cost me, but that's a sacrifice I was willing to make. Avoid this...

"First room we were assigned stank of fish, second room was moldy, third room was fine. All of the bed Pillows were half the size of a normal pillow. The pleather upholstery was missing from the in room chair. Hallways and main areas were dirty. Staff was helpful in with the unacceptable room situation. Next trip we will stay in a different hotel. There were many other hotel options in the area and good restaurant options nearby."

"The property looks nicer ce on the outside. Clean and up to date. The inside needs some upgrades. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower had good washer pressure. It just needs updated."

"Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, there was no A/C, and the elevators seemed unstable. I mentioned my concerns to staff and was told they had been fixed. Just a couple of hours later, my children and I got stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes and had to be rescued by the fire department. It was a scary experience, especially with kids. I hope management addresses these safety concerns, but based on our experience, I would not never take my family here again."

"Great hotel - very clean and smelled new. Gym has two treadmills, 1 bike and 1 elliptical with free weights. The one downside of our stay was noise. The walls are VERY thin."

"It was nice having the extra space but there was empty pill bottles in one of the drawers, there is no room service, and someone obviously had spilled hair dye all over the floor and walls. The sink wouldn’t stay open to drain water. And the pool my kids were looking forward to wasn’t opened like it stated it would be. However; that might have been for the best and we ended up going to Lake Erie."

"My room was filthy. Dirty bedsheets and blankets with stains. Bathroom was awful dirty. Hideabed was missing. I was shown two other room just as bad even one that had a broken sink. Front desk staff admitted to Expedia agent the issues but said wasn’t approval person to give refund. Expedia attempted to reach approving manager who wouldn’t respond. Will be disputing thru credit card company. Left next morning of 4 scheduled nights. I’d have left that first night except I’d been traveling for 11...
