Location: (11/10 stars). In the historic upper city very close to the funicular station. The upper city is almost entirely a pedestrian zone. All the shops, restaurants and attractions are only a few minutes walk. Airport transfer from BGY is easy just take the #1 bus, get off at the funicular and ride to the top. Cost 2.60 EUR. (or 12 EUR for 72 hrs unlimited public transport) Amenities: The combination shower/toilet/washbasin is accurately described. It is functional and clean but for a longer stay would be a downside for some. Access is via 3 short flights of stone steps. I was hoping for a washing machine. The host Lorenzo quickly responded with information about a good local laundry. It suited my needs perfectly for a short stay in one of the best 'undiscovered' places in Italy.

Mitten in der Altstadt von Bergamo
Eine Wohnung für ein Paar und ggf. eine weitere Person in einem alten Haus mit viel Charakter. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. In wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man die zentrale Piazza Vecchia, hervorrangende Restaurants oder auch die Bergbahn zur Neustadt (Citta Bassa). Sichere Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe, allerdings nicht ganz billig. Die Betreuung durch Ansprechpersonen vor Ort ist vorbildlich.

Le seul point négatif est qu'il a fallu payer 40 euros de plus pour le parking de la voiture et que cette information ne figurait pas dans l'annonce....il faudrait que ce soit stipulé...

Old City Apartment in Bergamo
Cute apartment in a perfect location to walk to the sites in Bergamo. The host was wonderful about reserving parking for us, meeting us at the apartment, and finding us a convenient location to take a COVID test prior to getting on a plane back to the states. While the bathroom was a bit small, I would definitely stay again.

Posizione strategica vincente
Punto di forza insuperabile è la centralità dell'appartamento : ideale per visitare la Città Alta. A due passi c'è uno street food specializzato in polenta che piacevolmente si abbina ad una vacanza low cost , ma di qualità.

Für diesen Preis einfach genial - vor allem die Lage. Lorenzo war sehr nett und alles verlief reibungslos.

the shower/bathroom is a disaster
in a good location, quiet. bathroom a nightmare, no bidet, shower and toilet sharing the same space!! unacceptable absence of a bidet and room to breathe. suitable for a couple of friends. totally unacceptable for 21st century living.

Buongiorno Angelo, mi spiace leggere questo commento. L’appartamento è grazioso, pulito, nel centro di Città Alta. E con un costo molto interessante per la location. Se la descrizione non corrisponde al vero o le foto postate non rendono bene l’idea dell’appartamento, me lo faccia sapere. Credo di aver ben evidenziato che il bagno è piccolo, purtroppo non è possibile intervenire per allargarlo. Per quanto riguarda il bidet, molte nazioni non lo includono nel loro bagno. C’e comunque il doccino per una pulizia personale. Cordialmente, Lorenzo

Ich habe in der sehr schön in Altstadt gelegenen Wohnung eine ruhige Woche in der Adventszeit verbracht. Die Vermieter kümmern sich rührend.
