Spend an unforgettable vacation in our newly built penthouse apartment, “Das Bergverliebt.” Surrounded by mountains, this beautiful apartment is located in the Berg im Drautal tourism region, from which many attractions are within easy reach. The turquoise-blue Weißensee is just 16 km away. During the summer months, the region has plenty to offer. Awarded the Austrian Hiking Seal of Quality, it’s a paradise for hikers. The Drau Cycle Path also invites you to enjoy beautiful bike rides. One of Austria’s nine most beautiful golf courses, located right on the Drau River, is within walking distance of our apartment. Thanks to its location south of the Alps, the Emberger Alm is one of Europe’s best paragliding areas and invites paragliders to enjoy some of the most beautiful moments in the air. In the winter months, the area offers perfect conditions for skiing, ski touring, cross-country skiing, curling, and ice skating. A 6-km-long cross-country ski trail is located near our apartment. The Emberger Alm family ski area offers slopes of all difficulty levels for winter sports enthusiasts. And of course, no winter visit would be complete without a trip to Lake Weissensee, home to Europe’s largest natural ice surface.


Our apartment is fully equipped with high-quality furnishings and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The tastefully designed living-dining area invites you to relax and unwind after an eventful day. A large LED TV provides entertainment. The fully equipped kitchen, featuring an induction cooktop, a combination oven-microwave, and a fridge-freezer with two large freezer compartments, ensures that you can comfortably prepare your meals.
The two bedrooms, each equipped with roller shutters or blackout blinds, feature a box-spring bed (180x200 cm and 160x200 cm), ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep. Of course, these rooms also have TVs. Two bathrooms, one of which has a washer-dryer, provide the necessary comfort with floor-to-ceiling showers. Wi-Fi and internet access in all rooms are a given here.
The highlight of this wonderful penthouse apartment is the 61 m² rooftop terrace, which is accessible from all living areas and the bedrooms. Here, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain panorama, and we’re sure this view will make you “fall in love with the mountains” too.
