Great spot close to the waterfall hike!
Quiet, peaceful and pretty much everything you want if you are trying to shut down busy life for a few days. My family and I booked two nights here before our stay at camelback resort. This cabin is right down the road from the trailhead at Ricketts Glen waterfall hike and about 10 minutes outside of a small town where you can grab breakfast, dinner and drinks. Very relaxing. Recommend and we will book next year.

Secluded cabin
Went to hike Ricketts glen for a couple days and this place is in perfect location, only a few miles from the park. The cabin is nestled back in the woods, surrounded by forest and we had plenty of privacy Place was very clean and had great communication with host . Looking forward to going again

Adorable cabin
Cute cabin. Secluded yet close to Ricketts Glenn, restaurants and a corner store. Only minor complaint was there are alot of cobwebs in the upstairs bedrooms. Overall a great little cabin. Owner reached out several times to check on us and keep us updated!

Good memories
My father and friends built this cabin and I have many happy memories from childhood stays there (and so I also have a very biased perspective). The current owners have done a nice job with refreshing the place and I am glad that others can enjoy it.

Very nice cabin. Very clean, quiet secluded setting. Would definitely stay again. Couch was super comfortable. King bed downstairs was the only complaint. Was very hard.

Great house near state park
The house is really cute, in a secluded area of woods. Ricketts Glen State park is very close by, so there is a lot to do in the area. Everything was very clean, plenty of space with a loft upstairs, and it had everything you would need during your stay- including good wifi!

Nature At It's Best
mid May 2023 Cozy quiet setting. Drove up to unique Lopez and even though I'm familiar with the area, was surprised by the powerful spring at the end of town. Good time was had by all. Enjoy PA's Red Rock.

Secluded Cabin
Wonderful, relaxing tranquil experience. Great home away from home, easy checking. No fuss, no problems, zero issues. Great experience and we had the added benefit of a brief snowstorm during our visit, the cabin was the perfect place to be snowed in. The many windows offered an ideal view all weekend. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay!!

Had an amazing weekend at this beautiful cabin. Everything was very clean and comfortable. It was an especially cold weekend and the heat inside the cabin worked perfectly. Can't wait to stay again. Wifi and cell service worked perfectly as well.

Perfect Secluded Spot Next to Ricketts Glen
The location of this cabin, just a five minute drive to Falls Trail, can’t be beat. It’s in a beautifully wooded and private location and had everything we needed. Very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean, comfortable and as advertised
Has a few extras that you don't get everywhere. Coffee, filters, soaps, shampoo, plenty of paper towels, TP, etc. Not a lot of restaurants nearby but that's the trade off for plenty of peace and quiet. Five people with smart phones, ipads, etc. and we had plenty of bandwidth. Would rent again.

Lovely fall weekend with friends
What a perfect cabin for a weekend getaway, minutes from one of the greatest hikes in PA. We were fortunate enough to enjoy this cabin during peak fall foliage. The falls trail 4-mile loop is great, even with kids. This cabin was both close to everything, and private. Very comfortable accommodations for a great price. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, near Ricketts Glenn State Park
Great location, near Ricketts Glenn State Park! I'd suggest bringing your bikes as long as you don't mind some hills. There's a dirt road that you can ride out to get ice cream at the Red Rock Scoop (about a 1 mile away- definitely recommend!). The host was nice and communicated well. The area the cabin is located on is very secluded and quiet and you rarely see a car go by. If you want some peace and quiet, this is a good spot!

So Close to the Falls!
The property was clean, Jess was very helpful and quick to reply to messages, the house had fun games and books for our kids (4 and 7 years old) to enjoy and we liked that firewood was available for purchase on site (but we were not able to have a campfire due to the rain). We enjoyed a restful weekend at the house with trips to Knoebels (1 hour away), Ricketts Glen Falls and went mountain biking at Moon Lake nearby. The stay was only made sweeter by a trip to the ice cream stand, nearby, Red Rock Scoop - delicious!

great little secluded cabin
Our family had a great time at the little secluded cabin less than 10 mins from Ricketts Glen. Kitchen was well stocked and the cabin was clean.Very good communication with Jessica. Theres only a few downfalls...I missed having a gas grill, it was very difficult to see while cooking because theres no light at the stove in the kitchen and it would be nice to have a table on the deck, because theres really no place to put your food or drink. like I said, minor things...Great seeing(and hearing) all the wildlife around and seeing the bright stars in the night sky.

Bachelorette Weekend Getaway
Six of us stayed for a low-key bachelorette outdoor weekend.We love the cabin, it’s so cute and in a great location. Lots of fun outdoor activities, hiking, and canoeing a Ricketts Glen Park, and we had a great time at Colonel Ricketts Hard Cider in Benton! 10/10 weekend!

Cabin Fun for All
We were in town for a wedding and needed accommodations - Jessica was quick to reply with answers to our questions! We found the cabin clean and peaceful which was exactly what we needed for our group. Kitchen had a coffee maker and other amenities. We would recommend staying here if you are visiting the area!

This cabin was roomy and clean. HVAC system worked well. The sectional was comfortable. If you don't like a firm mattress, bring a memory foam pad for downstairs king. A great location for anyone planning to hike at Ricketts Glen. The cabin had everything we needed except for a Keurig, but there is a regular coffee maker. The owner was attentive. We would not hesitate to stay at this cabin again.

Great Family Stay
Our stay was great! We enjoyed playing games and spending time with our family. The house stayed cool and the house was well stocked. We loved the new shower and the rooms were a great side. The beds are harder with less padding. Which some of us loved and some of us were not use to. Also bring a light with you for cooking in the kitchen, so you can see better. Overall, we had a great time. We appreciate all the suggestions in the welcome booklet.
