Family friendly Villa in Moraira with lovely outdoor terrace and pool

About Los Arcos…

Set in the wonderfully relaxing, upmarket urbanisation of San Jaime, our family-friendly Villa is a 5-minute drive from the town of Moraira and sleeps 4-6 people comfortably. Los Arcos is perfect for family holidays or couples alike. The apartment bedroom (Bedroom 3) is accessed off the terrace, making it ideal for teenagers or couples wanting a little more independence.


Outside…

Los Arcos enjoys a peaceful and secluded setting, with far reaching views over the distant hills. Sitting in a large private 1100sqm plot, it is surrounded by mature gardens consisting of several landscaped areas to the front and sides of the villa. It is planted with orange, lemon and olive trees, mature palm trees and bougainvilleas, which give a distinctive Mediterranean feel to the garden. Beautifully illuminated at night by a range of coloured spotlights, it adds a little magic to the evenings during your wonderful Spanish holiday.

The main terrace contains the 8m by 4m pool (which can be heated for an additional €200 during cooler months), the outside naya, the summer kitchen with BBQ, dining table and chairs – all with wonderful panoramic views. The pool can be lit at night, making it ideal for an evening swim. There is a CD player with a range of CDs in the summer kitchen, to help create special holiday memories on the terrace, dancing the night away under the stars!

A two-person hot tub is situated in a delightful turret next to the summer kitchen. Perfect for relaxing after a hard day sunbathing! Beyond the hot tub is a newly fitted cloakroom with a toilet and sink, ideal for use while you’re outside. In here you’ll also find a selection of pool toys/floats. Grab the deckchairs and cooler box and head to the beach – if you can manage to tear yourself away from the terrace!


Inside…

The villa has a newly renovated kitchen, incorporating an American fridge freezer which dispenses crushed ice at the touch of a button - a must for cocktail making! It has a Nespresso machine and wine cooler, along with all the regular kitchen essentials such as a dishwasher and washing machine.

The lounge is a lovely airy room, with exposed beams and leather sofas. There is a cupboard full of DVDs, books and games for all ages. Sky TV, all the regular UK channels and WiFi mean you can stay connected with the outside world should you wish! Air conditioning will keep you cool during the hot summer months.

The dining room is accessed through an archway in the lounge and has seating for 6 people.
The stone feature wall has dimmable LED lighting, which creates a lovely warm feel in the evenings. The patio doors lead out onto the naya and the terraces beyond.

The traditional Spanish style bathroom is well equipped with ‘his and hers’ sinks, bright LED lighting, plenty of storage space and a chrome heated towel rail. The bath has handgrips and a powerful shower with a glass screen enclosure at one end.

The main bedroom (bedroom 1) next to the dining room has a super-king sized bed. Patio doors lead onto the naya, with far reaching views of the mountains beyond. The stone feature wall has dimmable LED lighting, creating a relaxing atmosphere in the evenings. Mirrored wardrobes with plenty of storage run along one wall. Air conditioning keeps you cool during the hot months.

Bedroom 2, (adjacent to bedroom 1) is perfect for children or couples alike, as the beds can be configured as one super-king or two singles. Again, a feature stone wall with dimmable lighting creates a soft warm glow in the evenings. Air conditioning keeps you comfortable.

Bedroom 3 (the studio apartment) is accessed down steps off the naya, through its own front door. Ideal for couples or teenagers, it can also be configured as a super king or 2 single beds. A small kitchenette with a sink and fridge are ideal for making a morning coffee while the others are still sleeping! Built in wardrobes provide plenty of storage and the bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and sink. Air conditioning keeps you cool during the hot months. It has direct access to its own terrace with spectacular hillside views, as well as access to the swimming pool, large main terrace and outside dining and BBQ area, via a set of steps.


The surrounding area…

A short drive from Los Arcos, the three main local sandy beaches have been awarded the prestigious EEC Blue Flags for cleanliness. They are well-tended and very safe for family bathing. There are beach bars, children's play areas, a large inflatable play area in the sea and there is free beach side parking. El Portet beach with its calm turquoise shallow water and golden sand is perfect for a day at the seaside.


For those travelling without children, Moraira is the perfect civilised adult getaway! There are many beautiful quiet beaches and coves along the coastline to discover. A stunning marina is home to Club Nautico – perfect for early evening cocktails. In the town, along the coast road and within the area’s hidden coves there are a large variety of restaurants and bars to cater for every taste and budget - whether it's for a relaxing lunch, pre-dinner drink or special evening meal. As the sun goes down, relax in one of the many cafe bars and watch the sea and stunning views along the coastline towards Calpe.

For those into their cycling, the area is a favourite for winter training with professional cycling teams. La Vuelta pro road cycling race regularly passes through Moraira.

For those into their golf, Ifach Golf course is no more than a five minute stroll or a nine-iron away from Los Arcos. It’s a warm and welcoming course with a well recommended adjacent restaurant complete with its own private pool for relaxing.



If you want to make the most of those waking hours then tennis, squash, water sports, boat hire and trips, scuba diving for all levels, horse-riding, quad-biking, go-kart racing tracks for both adults and children are all easily available.

Moraira is now one of the most exclusive and pleasant places to stay whilst on holiday on the Costa Blanca. It has all the charms of a small picturesque fishing town nestled between mountains and vineyards, and at the same time has grown to offer everything to those that stay here. The streets are a mix of quaint cobbled narrow alleys and modern avenues lined with palm trees and fountains.

For those wishing to explore further, the beautiful village of Altea is around a 30 minute drive along the coast and the incredible, buzzing city of Valencia is just over an hour away.
