"I can’t fault our stay at Riverbend Gardens. It began with a warm welcome from our hosts Wendy, Mark and their adorable menagerie, along with a cuppa and chocolate cake. The unit was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Our last day started with a yummy breakfast and more bottle feeding of the lambs and we were farewelled with beautiful rose bouquets. We will definitely be back!"

"In summary - quiet, rural, friendly. Beautifully decorated, comfy and warm room part of, but separate from, the main house. Lots of well behaved dogs, chooks, guinea fowl, cats to share the stay with. Bonus was the cooked breakfast! Axedale is on the rail bike trail and Bendigo has so much to offer!"

"Ruth was lovely and very prompt with answers to any questions we had. Large bedroom with very comfortable beds, separate lounge area and 2 bathrooms!Nice quiet location only minutes from the township. We had everything we needed and it was very clean."
