"Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and lovely to speak to throughout our short stay. The hotel is immaculately kept and tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities. Bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were supplied along with shaving and dental kits. Enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommned."

"The property is situated in a great part of Southsea, you can get to the beach relatively quickly and there are plenty of attractions around. The property itself is in need of a spruce up and a thorough deep clean, it feels a bit tired throughout. Our children were wearing light coloured socks and due to the hard floors not being cleaned properly, they were all filthy when we left. For a property that sleeps 10, there is only 1 bathroom which was surprising, especially if everyone is trying...

It is on a safe system that needs imput from the owners and a no to get the small safe to drop and reveal the key to apt. Not able to get TV or internet until landlady came on sun morning. Phone conversation was not good at all. Frequently breaking down when asking questions. No instructions at all in apt to get started. No hot water...

"After a long day of emptying a property, we were looking forward to getting to our room and winding down for the night. Upon arrival into the room, it was like an oven opening up the door. It was 30-degree heat outside, and not one window had been left open to help ventilate or keep the room cool. We had to open our main door to try and let some air enter the room as it was absolutely unbearable to stay in there. Then it was time for a shower. "A good hotel just a short uphill walk from the ferry & hover points with a convenient bus stop nearby. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. We would definitely stay again."
