"Step out of franchise and discover a 1910 brick built structure that has all the charm and details of an Abbeville historical treasure. The clean room included a quilt covered bed that was comfortable, and the room included refrigerator and microwave. The best part was continental breakfast on a lovely veranda. The site is its original center of downtown, so don’t expect gardens…but I was sad to leave the over-stuffed wicker chair and resume my trip home."

"This is our second time staying at cast away cabins, and we love it. The cabin is perfect with a well equipped covered cooking area outside. They have a very nice fire pit and 3 boat storage bays with gates. Can’t wait to come back! "

"The pool was CLOSED! We always choose a hotel with a nice pool for our special needs daughter. We chose this one for that feature and were sorely disappointed that we couldn't use it. The breakfast was OK but not outstanding. The front desk staff was grest-- even suggested a terrific local Italian take-out restaurant."

"If they're not washing towels daily, they should add towl racks to allow towels to dry. Pillows are too small."

"This is a very well maintained property. The rooms are spacious and clean. We will stay here again."
