So, first the good things - the second room they gave me was very nice with an updated bathroom. The people working at the hotel are very nice, if slightly overwhelmed. I didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and other guests were enjoying it.
Now for the weird stuff - the exterior has maintenance issues. Wallpaper coming off the walls of the first floor hallway. But more off-putting were the cars with flat tires in the parking lot, the people sitting on either side of an entry smoking, and the signs - everywhere - informing everyone that use of illegal substances was cause for expulsion from the hotel. I felt like part of the hotel was being used for longer term housing?? Anyway, if you're just there for a quick night's sleep, it might be OK, but if you're in the area for any longer, I would find an alternative.
