"We absolutely loved the house. It is beautiful, immaculate, compact and incredibly comfortable. The beds and couch were great, plenty of lighting for reading and knitting, and a wonderful kitchen. It is right on the harbor so there is some good people, bird and boat watching. The town has everything you want, we loved Cheticamp Island, dinner at Sahara and I loved the Hooked Rug Museum. We'll be back! "

"Such a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable and well equipped. We spent a lot of time on the deck and loved it - a humming bird and chipmunk visited regularly and we could enjoy the heat without getting burnt. Unfortunately all the trails in Nova Scotia were closed (fire risk) but we swam a lot at Red River beach. We had a great week. "

"My family has stayed at this location in 2019 and very much enjoyed it. It is located near a few beaches and near our local family which was a big plus again this trip. We were able to visit family and catch up and then not overwhelm them with the 5 of us. It was a great place to enjoy the area. Lots of visits to the local beaches. Just remember there is only 1 bathroom. Not a big deal for us as we knew this going up there and we just communicated and it was not an issue. Thank you for offering...

"The location is gorgeous, with a view of the water and the awesome Cape Breton National Park very close. The house is comfortable and a good value for the price. The host is nice and very available to answer questions.We enjoyed our stay (even though all trails on the island were closed because of risk of fires)."
