The views of Lake Como and the mountains were beyond expectation. Everything about the stay was well done including our initial inquiries as to the AC / Heat settings. Private parking was as promised but it was underneath the unit so stairs involved.We recommend this host!!

I walked out to the patio at Villa Vista Lago and thought I’d died and gone to heaven! The view of Lago di Como was outstanding!!! This accommodation exceeded our expectations. The house was comfortable and well equipped. Everything was beautiful inside - the kitchen, finishings, lighting etc. The only challenge was finding the place up a windy road! You pretty much need a car as the restaurants, ferry and train/bus are in town which is a fair walk (30 minutes maybe) and an uphill climb coming home. Bellano is a lovely small town and low key with a number of good restaurants. We were happy to be there at the end of our busy days of visiting places. Be sure to visit Orrido di Bellano, a beautiful walk above a gorge.I’d return in a nano second and recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay with an amazing view.

Our stay was wonderful. Ettore and his father went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Excellent restaurant recommendations as well. We were welcomed like family and would highly recommend staying with them. The apartment was spotless and well stocked.

Lovely Italian holiday by Lake Como

Beautiful well equipped apartment with a lovely view of Lake Como which provided an ideal base to visit surrounding area and further afield (Verona, Bergamo, Venice, Milan), Owner very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

Amazing View with Luxury Amenities

This house is simply amazing! The pictures almost do not do it justice. It was the most luxurious and roomy of all the rentals we stayed in during our vacation in Italy, and the view is simply breathtaking. Our only regret is that we did not have more time to spend in this picturesque home. The owner is very easy to reach and we met his sweet father who provided access to the house and explained where things were even though he spoke little English. I highly recommend renting a car if you rent this unit which is located in the adorable town of Bellano, about 15 minutes north of Varenna. Note, that It is NOT possible to walk to the house from the train station and that there are very few cabs or ride-shares available. The host recommended three taxi options and none were available, so we had to quickly find a rental which thankfully we were able to do. While Bellano does have a ferry, the times are limited and not as frequent as other popular stops. The house is 3 stories, with a garage on the first floor, another unit on the second floor, and this rental is on the top floor, so you will have several flights of stairs to carry luggage. However, if you want a place to relax, take it slow, and enjoy the views - this is it.

The view from the patio was the most spectacular I have ever seen! The beds were so comfortable , and the apartment was very spacious. We are a family of four (two young adult daughters) who each had their own room. Every question I asked was responded to immediately. The town of Bellano is very charming. This is a wonderful place to stay! We had a rental car, and that was very much needed.

Wonderful apartment in Lake Como

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Vista Lago di Como! The apartment was very spacious and well appointed- it had everything needed for us to feel at home. The view of the lake from the balcony was amazing. Ettore was a wonderful host and very accommodating. We enjoyed walking into town every morning to have cappuccino at the local cafes and visiting the local restaurants and bars for lunch, apertivo and dinner. We were a family of 5 and would definitely recommend staying at this apartment in Bellano as a base while visiting Lake Como! Bellano is a small town that is less populated, which allowed us to really appreciate the culture. As other reviewers have noted, this apartment as wonderful as it is would not be suitable for individuals who have mobility issues as there are alot of steps and steep inclines.

Amazing

We had the most amazing time. The views are beautiful. We did not want to leave the property as it was so gorgeous. The hosts were super responsive and kind. We could walk to dinner. We could not ask for a better place to stay. We would love to come back!

5 Star Property Overlooking Lake Como

What a great place to stay on Lake Como! In the charming town of Bellano, this villa is perfect. Like everywhere in Italy, there are steps but Ettore helped with our bags. The kitchen is well stocked, the washing machine works great and there’s a coffee bar by the ferry dock in Bellano with wonderful chocolate croissants! And the view can’t be beat! Thank you, Ettore, for a wonderful stay!

Spectacular

What an absolute treat! If I could give our experience a higher rating I would. This is the home you always hope you will have when you are on vacation. It is spacious. It is sparkling clean. The kitchen is all you could wish for. Oh, and the view! As far as the eye can see. Beautiful Lake Como with surrounding towns and magnificent mountains. We have stayed at MANY vacation homes both in Europe and the USA. This tops all because it tops them all. Our hosts, Etorre and his dad, Ettore senior are kind and communicative. Senior was there to greet us and saw we were older and needed assistance getting our bags up the stairs. It turned out he out-aged all of us by a couple of years. It did not stop him from jumping in and hefting our bags. Both were there to help us out. We don't speak Italian. Senior doesn't speak English. It mattered not. I could go on. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Happily, Etorre had advised us to get a car. Heed his suggestion. The drive from town to the home is steep and windy. We picked one up in Como near the train station. Taxis are not readily available.

Nearly perfect flat with a splendid view on the lake.

The flat had nearly everything what is needed. A Garage for the car. Big Rooms. Comfortable sleeping rooms with Own bathrooms. A Kitchen with complete Equipment. Friendly Host. The View From the Terrasse is outstanding. We enjoyed it all the Time

A taste of Italy

Ettore, your apartment was comfortable & beautiful with a spectacular view! We were sorry we had such a short time here. While your father assisted us with the check in and we spoke no Italian & he spoke no English, his granddaughter did speak a little English, so we got along fine. Your father was quite sweet- all smiles! It took me a minute to figure out the shower (hence the several towels used- to dry the wet floor :) ). Your place is more lovely that the pictures! Fantastic in every way!

Bellano Villa Visto Lago lives up to its name and goes way beyond. This place is top notch and amazing in every way! The furnishings and details are impeccable, fully equipped to accommodate my family of 5 (and our large rental car) in utmost comfort and style. Ettore, the host, and his father are wonderfully kind, responsive, and helpful in every way. But the view from this beautiful and spacious home is the highlight - truly captivating and spectacular! We are already planning for our hopeful return. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Incredible apartment with the best views

This apartment was beautiful. It was the nicest place we stayed in Italy. Ettore was great to work with. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely spectacular. We enjoyed the patio overlooking the lake with beautiful Mountain View’s. We also were able to walk to town easily on the paths. You do have to climb on the return. I would highly recommend this property. I hope to return some day.

Beautiful view

Nice modern 3 bedroom apartment with spacious rooms and big beds. Nice bathrooms and a big garage to park your car. The views on the balcony patio are spectacular! I highly recommend this place and close to Varenna and Ferry ride to Bellagio.
