The staff were incredibly helpful, and everyone in the restaurant was especially lovely and welcoming. It was also great to have the option of on-site parking. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. We were surprised with an upgrade to an executive room, which was very spacious. It has a lovely view of the sea. Room has an iron & board, a fan and haie dryer. Easy parking and instructions. Good location to explore and walk to the pier. "Stayed at the Holiday Inn Basildon while attending a wedding at Cromwell Manor, which was only about a 10-minute drive away, making it a really convenient location. The hotel has a large car park, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was a big plus. Breakfast was decent with a good selection, and all the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that the corridor had a bit of an unpleasant smell, but thankfully it didn’t affect the room itself....

"Uncomplicated, cozy and clean. The location is priceless with beautiful footpaths along the coast line. The town has also a nice local pub. Henry was very accommodating and provided suggestions of places to visit. Definitely recommend!"

"Great stay overall. There was plenty to do around Rochester, making it a great location. The only downside was that our room was close to the train station, so it could be a little noisy at times. However, the receptionist was attentive, friendly, and polite, which made us feel very welcome. I would definitely stay here again."
