Activities nearby: Husum is worth a day trip. Stroll through the cozy Krämerstraße or discover the charming little stair houses on Norderstraße. The inland harbor, located in the center of town, offers a special Mediterranean flair with its boats and motor yachts, as well as restaurants serving fish specialties. A day on the North Sea dikes, where a fresh, relaxing breeze always blows, is worthwhile. The nearby North Frisian islands of Pellworm, Föhr, and Sylt are also within easy reach. During the summer months, excursions to the Halligen islands, located in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, are recommended. The following destinations are within a half-hour drive: Husum, Niebüll, Flensburg, Nordstrand, St. Peter-Ording, and Büsum.
