"Everything was excellent. The room was large, really clean and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. Directions really clear. The breakfast was superb. All the food was fresh, with choice of cereal, fresh fruit, pastries, bread, pancakes, crumpets and hot breakfast cooked to order. Entrance and eating areas also beautifully presented (and decorated for Halloween in our case). Staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend The Keep and would book again any time we return...

The bar and restaurant were tastefully decorated and the lighting and roaring woodburners made for a cosy experience. Will gladly sstay again when passing through the area. "

"A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. "
