Within five minutes of our arrival, we were welcomed with fresh tea, and our room had complimentary cakes! The hotel is a traditional pub with four small but comfortable bedrooms and a terrific location with wonderful views across the Peak District. Christianne provided first class customer service. Would suggest a room at the rear if road traffic bothers you. "3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked.
