The property is a rustic terraced village house in the charming bastide village of Beauville, Lot et Garonne. Built in circa 1846 , this comfortable village house has many original features. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 doubles and 1 twin room, ideally suited to sleep a maximum of 6 adults. There is a shower room on the first floor and a larger shower room on the ground floor as well as a spacious kitchen with all mod cons, a dining room and a large living room which leads to the terrace, pool and garden. Bikes x 2 , as well as some garden and pool toys are provided.
Beauville is a vibrant bastide village with a small supermarket, restaurant, bar, boulangerie, pharmacy and Doctor, all within 2 minutes walk from the property. There are also tennis courts and a playground close by. During the months of July and August the village hosts a marche gourmand every Friday evening where you can experience traditional French food with music and dancing until late in the village square.. not to be missed!
There is lots to do in this rural area of South West France with similar villages dotted within a few km drive. The bigger towns of Agen and Villeneuve Sur Lot are both a 20 minute drive where you will find larger supermarkets , shops and many other attractions. Toulouse is 1 hour and 20 min drive , Bergerac 1 hour, 15 mins , Bordeaux 2 hours drive and Carcassonne 2 hours 30 mins.
