Our cozy deck invites you into an open, light-filled space that is perfect for every occasion. With shops and restaurants less than two miles away, you can explore the charming town of Beaufort by foot, golf cart, bike or water! Embark on local adventures to Shackleford Banks & Harkers Island OR simply kickback to enjoy the spacious outdoors, grill, friendly locals, games and more! Plus your pooch can come too!

This property has been maintained as a 5 star stay and was recently purchased by us (5 star hosts). It was voted as Beaufortā€™s top short-term stay in 2022. The Loft is located above a retail space, Dancing Baristas Cafe, which opened in March 2023. There will be patrons visiting the shop downstairs for early morning coffee and the business will be hosting occasional afternoon/evening events on site. The entire outdoor space is considered common area for all guests to enjoy and we hope you will participate in all of the fun being offered right outside your door! However, the upstairs area is reserved only for our VRBO guests and you will not be sharing any indoor spaces. If you'd like to engage in the community, meet locals, feel some excitement and learn more about the area...you will love this spot! Please feel free to connect with me to learn about any events that may be taking place during your stay or check out the Dancing Baristas Cafe (DBC) on social media.

Guests will have access to the upstairs loft (private entrance) as well as the outdoor spaces. Find yourself at home with a propane grill, outdoor shower (seasonal), outdoor patio furniture and more. Reserved parking is available for our guests. If you have your dog along, you'll find a small fenced area where they can loosen their legs after a long car ride!

Within 1.5 miles you'll land in the Historic Downtown of Beaufort, where you'll find bars, restaurants, ice cream, live music, ferry services and more. While some may consider walking downtown, most guests opt to hop on a bike or golf cart. Rent these locally and take advantage of the delivery services available so they'll be waiting upon your arrival! We'll be happy to share directions for a shortcut to downtown - the trail over the Turner Street bridge is just around the corner!

We have family in Morehead City and have been looking for a place not too far out of the way when there just isn't room enough for everyone. We loved the loft and the coffee shop that's on the same property. It was ideal for us. We'll be back soon.

Cute Lil Getaway spot

This quaint spot is perfect for a quick getaway. Convenient to shops, especially Beaufort waterfront. Beautifully decorated with all needed conveniences. Bethany was very pleasant to deal with. Oh and the Dancing Baristas coffee shop downstairs was the icing on the cake.

Great communication from the host Bethany. Easy entry code. Very cute loft; easy access to the beach or ferry. It was a nice touch that i could call or go downstairs to get breakfast from the barista. It was nice that i was able to bring my dog and enjoy the beach with her. I will be back

Perfect place for one or two!

I was visiting Beaufort for the first time. This property was ideally located to downtown, Harkers Island, and Morehead. I enjoyed staying above Dancing Baristas. It was so convenient to pop down for my Latte and breakfast choice each morning before heading out. The property was perfectly appointed with toiletries, books, games, a comfy bed, and more. The owner provided great communication before and during my stay. I will stay again when I am back in the area.

My husband and I extended our family vacation for a couple days in Beaufort. The loft was better than advertised. The bed was super comfortable. Probably the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

long weekend in Beaufort NC

stayed here for a long weekend for a friends retirement celebrations. showed up and everything was super clean and super cute too! comfortable furniture, comfortable bed, nice deck area with comfortable rocking chairs for relaxing away the evening! best bonus ever is the Caffe below on the first floor, best breakfast sandwich I've ever had!

A cozy stay

Came to town from New York for a beach wedding. What a wonderful loft above a charming cafe, where we were welcomed by very friendly staff. Not only is it super convenient to walk downstairs in our PJs and order our morning coffees, but the dog-friendly amenities and cute porch are the cherries on top. Thanks for a relaxing stay and the southern hospitality.

Fun, Quaint, and Comfortable!

This is a great place. The suite itself is meticulously clean, beautifully decorated, and is just a comfortable place to stay. While not quite in downtown Beaufort per se, the location is great and is very easy to get to the waterfront in Beaufort, Morehead City, and Harkers Island. The icing on the cake is the Dancing Baristas coffee shop below the suite. Serving breakfast and lunch, it was a true treat to go downstairs for a cup of coffee and some breakfast in the morning and be welcomed by the incredibly sweet staff and friendly locals. Both food and coffee were outstanding. All in all, we spent two nights at this VRBO and then spent a week camping at Cape Lookout National Seashore. We spent a third night at this VRBO after returning from our stay at Cape Lookout. This area is absolutely gorgeous, lots of things to do, has a fascinating history, and really good places to eat! This loft is the perfect place to enjoy it all, I just wish that we could stay for another week!

Best coffee shop around

Lovely little hidden gem! I left 4 stars instead of 5 simply because the mattress was a bit too firm & the bathroom door was odd - it doesnā€™t close all the way, so there was no true sense of privacy. I would have preferred to know that prior, but overall, beautiful spot & the coffee shop was amazing! The staff were great & I canā€™t wait to come back!

Outstanding VRBO

Outstanding property and cleanliness. The cafe downstairs is wonderful and staffed by a wonderful team. The property is built for small pets and the coffee shop has a fenced in run for dogs. Highly recommend this property.
