Private Island Ocean Front Serenity

This 4 bedroom, 3 bath duplex in the small, gated community of Harbor Island, offers stunning views and pristine beaches. Watch the sun rise over the ocean from the back porch and sip wine on the front porch while the sun sets over the marsh.

Take a pick of either main bedrooms on the main floor and your choice of views of the dunes and beach or marsh. Each master has a queen bed. The upstairs bedrooms share a common bath and have great views as the rooms below. One bedroom has a full bed and the ‘kids’ room can sleep multiple kids on the twin/ double bunk with twin trundle and a full size pull out sofa.

A short 2 minute walk ( 300 steps) over the dunes brings you to three miles of sandy beach recognized by the Audubon Society as a destination for sea birds and loggerhead turtles. Relax while the kids play, hunt for horseshoe crabs and entertain themselves with hermit crab races.

During high tide the sand bar provides a safe place for shallow swimming and at low tide you can collect hermit crabs and swim in the tide pool. If you are done with the ocean, check out the Beach and Raquet Club. There's a pool, kiddie pool, swing set, and alligator observation area to enjoy. And, if you're up for it, you can play a game of tennis, hoops or get a workout at the gym. Bike and helmet rentals are available at the Harbor Island Beach and Racquet Club.
