The Space:
Come stay and play at Woodland Lodge near Crystal Mountain! This stunning 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home features everything you would want in your own home, plus all the magic of Pure Michigan! The highlight of this property is its peaceful seclusion. Sip coffee on one of the many decks while you watch the deer come in, cozy up by the fire, relax with friends by the firepit, or bring your 4-wheelers and take to the trails.

This property boasts 40 private, wooded acres to explore and hunt! We are family-friendly, pet-friendly, and event-friendly! The home sleeps 15 with 2 large bunk rooms, a room with a queen-sized bed, and a king suite. Multi-level decks offer views of the surrounding nature. Bring your 4-wheeler and take to the trails. Hunting is OK, too! Despite the seclusion, we are 1.5 miles to Crystal Mountain Golf Course, 2 miles to the ski hill, 16 minutes to Arcadia Dunes on Lake Michigan, and 45 minutes to Traverse City.

Visit Crystal Mountain Resort for 4-season activities, a general store, restaurants, and a whole lot of fun! Crystal Mountain offers a-la-carte activities for all ages. Also nearby are area golf courses, ski hills, wineries, and only 15 minutes away is Lake Michigan! This house will be your home base as you enjoy all the local activities the area offers.

Rental Policy:
- No smoking of any kind or fireworks are permitted.
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted.
- 2 Dogs allowed with pre-approval and pet fee paid in advance. Non-Refundable $150 pet fee per pet.

Important to Note:
- The road and driveway to this property is an uphill gravel/sand driveway. The road is maintained through all seasons but may be difficult to navigate sometimes due to delayed plowing or wash out and heavy rains. Please plan accordingly.
- Satellite WiFi connection may be affected by the weather.
- Home does not have central AC, but has plenty of fans and is naturally cooler due to the shade from the wooded area.

To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. The cost for Safely is $49 for 1-29 nights, $249 for 30-59 nights, $319 for 60-89 nights, and $390 for 90-119 nights. All reservations will initially be charged a $49 Safely Damage Insurance Fee. For stays longer than 29 nights, the additional charges will be processed after booking. All reservations are subject to the guest agreement terms, conditions, and fees.

Guest Access:
This property features self-check-in. Check-in is permitted between 4:00 pm -10:00 pm. Guest are responsible for having their check-in instructions before arrival. Check-in instructions are sent after completing our guest check-in form and agreeing to our terms of service. The home's property address will also be sent separately 72 hours prior to check-in.

Getting Around:
4-Wheel Drive or All-Wheel Drive vehicles are recommended! There is a 1-mile sand, dirt, and gravel driveway that leads up to the house.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are provided with a small amount of the basic essentials including 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, 2 dish pods, a full dish soap dispenser, full soap dispensers in each bathroom, and basic cleaning supplies. Guests are not to use the host's inventory of bulk supplies left at the property and should be prepared to supply their own as needed for longer stays.

CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
•November-April: Set the heat/thermostat to 55 degrees and close the blinds.
•May-October: Shut off everything and close the blinds.
•Strip beds (not mattress pads) and pile all sheets and towels on the floor near the washer. Start a load of towels in the washer. (If applicable.)
•If you used more than 2 shower towels, hand towels, or washcloths per person, we ask that you wash, dry, and put the excess away before checking out. (If applicable.)
•Dispose of all food. No food or beverages are to be left inside the property.
•Put all trash in the garbage bin. Trash instructions are noted in your Guest Guide Link. Please take the trash to the road if your stay falls on or within 48 hours of trash day.
•Put patio cushions, outdoor chairs, games, books, and DVDs back where you found them. (If applicable.)
•All dishes must be washed, dried, and put away. Dirty dishes left behind will result in a $100 additional guest cleaning fee.
•Turn off all lights.
•Close and lock windows.
•Lock the door.
