"We loved the property and the house. Problem with the master bath sinks but we just didn’t use them. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and read. We had a fire in the fire pit one night. Never heard anyone else around. The trails were lovely a couple of fallen trees but we went around. The alarm system was slightly annoying, beeping every time someone went in or out but we left the side door open with the screen closed while we were there and solved that problem. "What I liked: This property was spacious, well-lit, comfortable, with well-stocked kitchen cupboards, and plenty of seating in the living and dining rooms. The main areas of the home were clean and tabletops dusted. There were many interesting pieces of decor. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding and there seemed to be enough towels. Very homey. What I didn’t like: the property was advertised as having 4 bathrooms, two with showers, but actually there were two full baths and a half...

"My family of five had a great time staying at this cottage; it was the best stocked vrbo we've ever stayed at and was immaculate. Fire wood was provided for the fire pit, it has a nice sandy bottom lake area around the dock, lots of deck area and outdoor tables & seating area. Comfortable interior with lots of kitchen supplies, games & books. Lake and neighborhood were quiet. "

"Quiet piece of northern Michigan forest - plenty of room for outdoor activities on the property and in the BnB. Our group had an amazing time. It was about a 20 minute drive to Lake Michigan. Property came fully equipped for large meals & a bed for every person. Would definitely come back!"
