"The staff were friendly, efficient and responded quickly to any issues. The pool was amazing, very clean as was the hot tub. My complaint is with the entry/exit doors on the North building. Between the wind and occupants not closing the doors gently, all you heard up until midnight was the slamming of those doors. It was very loud and kept us up most of the night. We reserved 2 rooms for our party of 4, thinking they would be next to each other but that was not the case. One room only had...

"Room requires general maintenance, bed in acceptable condition, towels worn out due to use, insufficient heating even when the thermostat is set to maximum temperature. Hot breakfast with omelette with cheese, fruit and cereal."

"I found it difficult to use the Keurig coffee maker. Hard to see & to lift up to put in the cups. Also it would be nice if something could be figured out to hold the room door open when rolling in the luggage carrier...especially when a person is alone."

"Great location and amazing staff!! If you get a dunes view stay, you are literally looking at a hill of cactus and weeds.. like a wall in front of you. Ask for a floor above 2. The breakfast is okay. Vending for snacks , ice and vending for drinks are all on different floors. Parking is tight. Very clean! Room was spacious. The bathroom is terrible !"

They are very helpful, funny, everyone of their dining suggestions were spot on., and as good as our meals were, breakfast was the best meal of the day. "Room was clean and the price was right. That being said, I have a few issues. The video service kiosk for check in, etc, staffed by someone overseas, was annoying and impersonal. The description of “1 acre of private beach” advertised was an absolute lie. It is only a few blocks from free beach access, why do they make such an effort to make it look like they have a private beach? Pet fee was 59.99 per night plus tax (acceptable), but is not what the website advertised ($50) Coffee pot in...

"Great Stay! I was a little concerned with past reviews but figured out that the bad reviews were from the previous hotel. This is a newly taken over Home 2 and what you’d expect from a great Hilton family! It is exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful Oceanfront room with a balcony, kitchenette and easy parking! Room was clean and staff was amazing! We will be back anytime we are in the Outer Banks area!"
