One House to beach- beach chairs & badges too!

Breathtaking ocean and bay views and only steps to one of New Jersey's best beaches. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets on wrap-around decks. It's a short walk to many restaurants and attractions. Families can enjoy many activities such as miniature golf, amusement park, arcades, water park and of course many boating and fishing activities. Come and enjoy the Long Beach Island lifestyle.


IT'S ALL ABOUT THE WATER.........
LBI is an 18 mile barrier island with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the beautiful Barnegat Bay on the other. The island is a 1/2 mile wide at it's widest and you are never far from the white sugar sand beaches or the serenity of sunsets on the bay.
IT'S ALL ABOUT FUN........
Spend your vacation relaxing on the beach or enjoying the fabulous restaurants and nightclubs. Catch a live performance at the Surflight Theater, LBI's answer to Broadway. Performances are scheduled year round. You can have fun all year on LBI. Ride bikes along our flat island roads, climb the steps to the top of Barnegat Lighthouse, shop at Bay Village or Viking village, go fishing off the bay or beach or spend a 1/2 day on a commercial fishing boat, or hang out a crab trap in the bay.
IT'S ALL ABOUT FAMILY........
Everyone loves the ocean but LBI also has some guarded bay beaches for the toddler set who are too young for big ocean waves. Learn to boogie board, surf, or kayak. Rent a boat or a wave runner. We even have kite boarding and parasailing. Collect sea glass along the beach or schedule a family beach portrait. Kids love the rides at Fantasy Island and Thundering Surf Water Park. There are plenty of arcades, lots of miniature golf, and everyone's favorite- ice cream!

Good house with a great view of the ocean

Overall, this house was great. Owner is responsive. Beautiful views of the ocean, great decks & lots of seating options within the house. They had a lot of beach chairs and other beach amenities that were very considerate and useful. To make this house a 5 star, there would be a couple of things that I would suggest. First, is in the primary bedroom. There's a large picture window that has no window coverings so the sun shines in very early in the morning. I don't know about you but when I'm on vacation, I don't want to get up at 6 am every day and there is absolutely no way to cover this window. When the sun rises, it beams down on the bed and it gets very hot. I'm not sure why there is no window covering but the room is so bright you can't sleep. Also, the bed makes so much noise when you move that even people in the room below can hear anytime a person turns over. Another suggestion would be towel racks or a coat hanger that can support multiple towels. Downstairs, there are 3 bedrooms that can sleep up to 6 people. There is 1 small towel rack in the bathroom so when you shower, there is no where to hang your towels. No hooks on the doors, nothing. I understand that that people probably rip the racks out of the walls but a standing coat rack would be helpful if they don't want to put holes in the walls. The last things are the vertical blinds & shower mat. The blinds were constantly falling off and we ended up making a pile of them. The shower mat had mold.

Just got home from our wonderful week of vacation and could not have asked for a better experience! Mike, the host, is extremely friendly and was vey responsive to all our questions. House was beautiful and very well stocked with beach items to bring right across the street for a perfect beach day. We enjoyed the rooftop deck every night to see the beautiful sunsets over the bay. The house is also in a perfect location, close enough to shops and activities, but far enough away to be very peaceful and quiet. We’re already planning a return trip and can’t wait to stay here again!!

Perfect July 4th fireworks view

Beautiful comfortable well appointed vacation home for the whole family! Grandchildren loved the ping pong table in the garage and easy walk to the beach...they also liked having the private TV room on 1st floor for themselves

Great Vacation

My family had a great time on our LBI vacation. The house was awesome from location down to amenities. It was great to wake up every morning, have a cup of tea on the deck, look at the water, and plan our day. The extra living area gave everyone enough space to spread out and the main area allowed us all to come together when we wanted to. Mike was easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions or concerns.

Great stay

We enjoyed our family stay here! Great location, good views, clean house. We had young kids that got some splinters on the deck so we had to make sure they had shoes on out there but we really have no complaints. Easy and quick communication. Great week!

House is in the perfect location. Views from all decks, had everything we needed for two families. We had 5 teens with us and the layout was perfect for all. Easy check in and check out. Owner, Michael was very easy to communicate with. Will be back!

Very nice quiet location!

First time staying this far south on the island but it was amazing! The house way very clean and well equipped. The owner was very easy to get in touch with during our stay. Would definitely love to stay here again!

This home was perfect!! My son got married over the weekend we were there and I was lucky enough to find this house right across the street from my brothers. Every amenity you needed was provided. Very clean and very spacious. Did I mention the views??? Just beautiful to wake up to....even with the pouring rain. Michael could not have been any more accommodating. I will definitely tell my friends about this home and wouldn't hesitate to rent again. Thank you

Great home right across from the ocean

Fabulous home for family get away. Ocean view with big picture windows inside and plenty of decks with both ocean and view views. Plenty of room to spread out. Mike was great.

Perfect location and great for families with teens

Holgate beaches were beautiful and uncrowded. The house was spacious with great views of the ocean. It had everything you needed and the beds were comfortable (which is rare for shore rentals). Lots of stairs (so maybe not the best for old people or toddlers). We rented linens from surf and suds and they were superb. Great customer service. Mike, the property manager, was responsive and easy to work with. This house was an excellent value.
