Annex No. 1 DePerrys | On Lake Superior Shoreline

Enjoy your Northwoods vacation in a serene setting just minutes north of Bayfield on the shores of Lake Superior overlooking Basswood Island and the Fedora shipwreck. The two Annex suites are located on the second floor with private outside stairsways, and offer the same amenities and lake views. Each unit is suited for two with a queen suite, a newly remodeled bathroom, and living room area. The shared backyard features a firepit and stairs that lead down to the waterā€™s edge.

The Annex No. 1 suite includes a private entry to the living area with a love seat, dining table and chairs, a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, standard drip coffeepot, dishes and cutlery, and bathroom with single stall shower. Private gas grill and deck chairs also available. The generous sized bedroom features nautical inspired white wood furniture and a queen bed. Vaulted ceilings throughout give this space the ultimate roomy feel for your vacay.

This property is exactly as decribed in the posting. Very convenient location just north of downtown Bayfield with an easy drive. The place was very clean and the owners responded to our questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend staying here. Bonus is there is a shipwreck just off the shore in front of the place. We enjoyed watching all of the tourists come and look at it.

The property was very clean and comfortable. Perfect place for crashing at the end of a hard day of adventures and sightseeing. Donā€™t plan on cooking here. Just a coffeemaker and microwave, but that exactly what we prefer. šŸ˜‰

Was a very nice quiet setting! If you are looking for privacyā€¦look no further! The only two issues we hadā€¦was we rented both units and one of them had an extreme perfume smell, Iā€™m guessing the renters before us sprayed something to cover up a smell. The second issue was a personal preference on bed hardnessā€¦one of us couples is used to a hard bed and liked the bed, we on the other hand are used to foam and the mattress was too hard! Other than those two things we highly recommend these units!

This property is a duplex but our neighbors were unobtrusive. It is in a quiet spot on the lake, but close enough to Bayfield. It was a nice retreat.

A beautiful peaceful place to relax! The view of the lake, the access to a little beach and a fire pit added to the peacefulness. It is a quick drive to Bayfield and various hiking trails. We loved watching and listening to the night kayakers viewing the ship wreckage. The property was very clean and had all you needed. The bathrobes were a nice added touch!

We had a wonderful stay at Deperryā€™s on the Lake. Very quiet spot about 10 minutes from Bayfield. Our unit looked out on Lake Superior right were the Fedora ship wreck is. Has everything you need, even a grill and fire pit. Would highly recommend

We wanted to get away from all the noise of the city and thatā€™s exactly what this location gave us! The sounds of nature and the lake outside was such a soothing experience. We drove into Bayfield for dinner and for our kayak tour, and itā€™s such an easy and beautiful drive!

The balcony overlooking Lake Superior provided uninterrupted views. The fall color and serene quiet, broken only by bird songs added to the amazing stay.

I completely recommend this place! It is just north of Bayfield, so it is a quick drive to restaurants and activities. You are right on the water, so you have your very own view of the lake. With the private balcony, grill, firepit, and small lake access, you wouldn't even need to leave! The space is clean and thoughtfully put together. This is attached to a second rental unit. There were guests staying there during our stay, and we barely ever heard them. Wonderful place for a peaceful getaway!

This is a wonderful place if you like a lakefront view, quiet, and pretty much secluded. It's just what we were looking for. The place was welcoming with lights on when we entered and the A/C already going. One thing to note is that the A/C in this unit is a travel type that has the exhaust go out the window. It did have trouble keeping the unit cool on the hot days (90s). Thankfully the air cooled and we were able to open up the windows and enjoy the sound of the trees and lake in the breeze. If you have more time there you can enjoy the small beach and fire ring with plenty of wood. The WIFI worked pretty well for us. It's just a short drive to get to Bayfield to see the Apostle Islands. I highly recommend. : ) Make sure to note that your price may be $20 higher than listed when you book. I noticed, booked anyway, asked about it but, got no response.

We enjoyed our visit. It was a little more remote than we expected, but that came with the bonus of nature all around us. One morning, my husband saw an eagle in the tree right outside the window. It was clean and comfortable. We wish it would have had a king-sized bed, but we knew going in that it was just a queen. We did have a few little glitches with check in and with the grill, etc..., but the management company was always responsive and did their best to resolve.

Very comfortable and clean, great view of the lake and Basswood island. We really enjoyed our time there. It is outside of town, but just what we were looking for. Bayfield was just minutes away and easy to get to and from.
