Amazing!!
We booked this place for my bachelorette trip, and it was perfect. The beach is directly in front of the property. It is within walking distant of all the shops, restaurants, bars, and daiquiri shack. The house was clean and beautiful! My friends were calling their significant others and family to plan a vacay back to the property.

My 3 sisters and I thought the house was beautiful and the location was great. We are all old gals over 60. Just a few suggestions for boomers: cushions for patio furniture, chairs with backs and lamps in the living area.

Great Location, Great Accomodations!
We arrived late on a Sunday evening and left on Friday. Our group had two couples and one single. Everyone felt the beds were comfortable and the accomodations had all we needed. We didn't cook any major meals, but the kitchen could have accomodated such needs. Everything was clean and fresh. We walked to town for coffee every day and that was about a 15 minute walk depending on our pace. The beach across the street was simply beautiful. We played in the water every day. The water is shallow for a very long way and the overall current pushes toward shore - perfect for littles. If we ever visit Bay St. Louis in the future, I would stay here again.

When we arrived my family was so happy with me for picking this rental! Listing was exactly as shown online. Communication with owners was super. It was wonderful sitting on the porch drinking coffee with the beach as our view. Full size coffee maker, cooking utensils, laundry, even a few games…they’ve got it all. I appreciated that it was a walk to things that made the stay peaceful. Beds slept well too! Bay St Louis for a family of five was perfect!

Great accessible location, beautiful views
Wonderful getaway! Winter at the beach can be iffy, but this house is solid. Stormed outside, but we barely heard it. We needed the heaters and they worked well. One for each level, so everybody was comfortable. This location was a great choice for our 93 yr old with a walker. Downstairs bath has easy access. Wide doorways. No tricky floors, rugs, or steps. Upstairs sitting area gave plenty of space for a comfortable retreat. Property manager was quick to respond when a storm blew open a door that we had not closed correctly. And his clear instructions were great. Hurricane doors have an up down lock, that is simple once you understand. We will be back to enjoy the views again.

Best location
This place is a gem. It is so clever how the unit is divided into 3 locations. Mermaid was perfect, we could wake up and see the ocean. We walked to the local cafe each morning (approx 12 minutes). We would walk to local bars and restaurants. We tried most of the ones that were open. Monday and Tuesday it is really quiet. We loved Sugar Pops, sandwhich of the week, and of course the burger. Cant forget the cakes either. Just a great place. The unit had everything that we needed, and were able to work remote with out any issues. We will be back.

Amazing Location!!
We loved the location and ability to walk across the street to the beach. The golf cart community was perfect for our young children. The only thing that could be improved was the “consumables” offered (dishwashing detergent, cooking spices, etc). Great stay - will stay again!

Ideal BSL Beach location
One of few Bay St. Louis properties where the view out of your front window is the Gulf. You share it with two connected properties, but our neighbors were very nice. Look forward to returning visits!

Wonderful as usual
This is our third summer booking this property. The rental is clean, modern, and welcoming. It lends itself well to families with the upstairs set of 4 twin beds and common area in between bedrooms. The owners are incredibly responsive and very helpful. The beach access is key.

5 stars all around. Very nice, clean and the owners answered any questions we had. Property is right on the beach and was very convenient for my daughter when she was ready to take a break. It was a perfect little vacation. We will be returning costumers!

Great Location
The property we stayed in was called the mermaid. The unit was nicely decorated and very clean. The ocean was right across the street. We had one issue when were there. The refrigerator went out and the owners had it replaced with in hours. The unit was also within close proximity to some wonderful restaurants. We did not get a bad meal in Bay St Louis or Pass Christian. I highly recomend staying in one of these properties.

Great Family Vacation
Rented two units for family vacation. Everyone enjoyed the location and ability to walk to Old Town for some meals. The kids loved the popsicle shop. This was our second year renting and we plan on going again next year.

We were in Mermaid and friends next to us. Set-up worked well. Loved being across from beach, beautiful view. It is within walking distance, but an extended walking distance. You are limited to 2 parking spaces which while one guest was unloading, the owner confronted her about having only 2 cars on the property. A little annoying to confront people when they are just arriving and trying to unload to move their car off the property. Mirrors are hung too high and lighting is not the best in master bath. Very limited on bath towels. Would still recommend staying here, but with a little less policing by owner.

Amazing place
This place is amazing perfect location you can walk to the restaurants and downtown. We rented a golf cart from quality golf cart and it was half the price of others. Right across from beach and beautiful views. So clean and exactly what you need for a perfect trip. The renters are easy to get in touch with. Mermaid tail was magical

Perfect a Girl’s Weekend/ Birthday Getaway!
We loved the Mermaid Tales so much! It was newly renovated or built, plenty of space, very clean, stocked with all the appliances you need, across from the beach, and 1/2 mile away for all the restaurants and shopping! What a charming town and rental! We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at this property numerous times in recent years, and it is always our first choice when we are traveling to the Ms Gulf Coast. The owners have other VRBO rentals at this site that we have enjoyed as well. They are wonderful to work with, and respond promptly and efficiently to any questions that we may have. The properties themselves are beautifully decorated and consistently cleaned to a very high standard. We appreciate the owners’ attention to detail that makes every stay here so special.

Great place to stay. We used both sides of the duplex and it was perfect. 11 women who all slept well and enjoyed the amenities in the space. Would highly recommend.

Girl's weekend!
My friends and I stayed here for girl's weekend. This house is super clean, super cute, and walking distance to shops, dining and bars. The beach is right across the street. You can walk from the beach back to the house for bathroom breaks easily. I would highly reccomend this house.

Perfect Spot! Clean and comfortable.
The house is in the perfect spot. Just so peaceful. The beach is right across a calm road. Just up the street there is a good mix of beachfront restaurants with pub style food and higher end spots. There are small shops, nothing was ever overcrowded. The house was very comfortable and spacious! Very very clean. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The beds were comfy, as was the furniture. Highly recommend this house and Bay St Louis!

Will be back!
Wow! This is one of the best family trips we’ve had in years. The house is great, the town is great but most of all the beach was great! We definitely will be back and hope it ALL stays the same! We love the small, quaint town of Bay St Louis. Hope it never changes. The food is excellent and the people are friendly. Water is clear but it isn’t blue like some parts of the gulf. However, we would rather have what this place offers over the blue water and the crowded condo beach, any day! Thanks Garcia family!

Great spot on the beach!
Clean and well stocked house. We enjoyed being right on the beach, and the patio every night. Quiet area but close to town for all your needs. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals daily. Enjoyed the spacious master shower, and my teens enjoyed their own space upstairs. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway with the family.

BSL...our new favorite spot
We have now traveled to BSL 4 times in the past year. This is our 2nd visit to this unit. We were a group of girlfriends and the location and bed arrangement is perfect for us!
