"This place is incredible! Private and quiet property, beautiful enough to take your breath away. Surrounded by water on all 3 sides, making you feel like you’re on an island. Plenty of sights to see and food to eat in nearby Bay City. So many things to do during your stay like kayaking and fishing in the bay. Spectacular host Tracy is super friendly and accommodating. Would love to stay again! 10/10 recommended "

"Exactly what is needed for a little get away! Such a cute cottage, wonderful outdoor space with fire pit and hot tub. Short walk to the most beautiful beach I have seen in Port Austin with a wonderful sunset view. Host was kind and accommodating. Would highly recommend this little get away! :)"

"My 18 year old daughter suddenly became available for a last minute family trip so I scrambled to find someplace that would accommodate myself, 13-year old son, my daughter and her boyfriend as well. I was lucky enough to find Harper’s Hangout! It was only 2-1/2 hour drive for us, offered enough privacy for everyone, AND we could bring our dog!When we arrived, it was super clean, the A/C was at a perfect temp, and it was as welcoming as can be! "Cottage was clean, cozy and exactly what our family was looking for. Quiet area, easy access to the beach and minutes from shopping, dining and activities. Our family enjoyed the fire pit, hammock and large yard. Our host was very attentive and ensured we had an enjoyable experience. "We were in Port Austin for a wedding this weekend. Martha was a wonderful hostess, very kind and helpful. The place was clean and comfortable. We would recommend for a couple to stay also not bad with another couple that doesn’t mind a futon!! Two dogs, Blu and Scoobie bark a lot but are very friendly and super cute. Within walking distance to the farmer’s market, beach and bars/restraunts. Great location."

"I stayed at the keeper's house on Charity Island in mid-August with my parents, daughter, and nieces (ages 8-10). It's such a unique stay and very peaceful. The house is spacious and fairly well stocked, though we spent most of the time outside.
