WEEKLY DISCOUNT Beach & Sport Fishing Boat House and Pier

Our bay house sits right on the canal, with easy boat access and dock for you to enjoy the day fishing in Matagorda Bay for trout, redfish, and flounder. If you prefer deeper waters take Mitchells cut toward the oil rigs for red snapper.

Sargent Beach is a wonderful way to spend the day with family and friends. You can also catch blacktip sharks and bull reds with a surf rod. We like to kitesurf and look for conch shells on the beach.

Please use a cutting board. The counter will scratch it is not stone. No Smoking / No Pets / No Large Parties / Don't use the Hot Tub.
PLEASE DO NOT USE OUR BOAT LIFT. If the switch is left in the up position (if you were to take the boat out) then the motor will not stop and breaks.
Do not ride on the freight elevator. It is not rated for people. It can and has had the cable snap. You will be seriously injured and or death occurs

Excellent home, clean and cold AC!

The house was super clean and well appointed! Had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be renting this house again in the near future! Beds were comfortable and the AC ran so well, making us sleep like babies each night! Check in was simple with no issues whatsoever. Looking forward to another great trip to Sargent!

The house was very clean! The beds were so comfortable! Everything we could possibly need was provided. We really enjoyed using the Crab traps off of the pier. Came home very rested and relaxed!

Great House

We had a wonderful time! The kitchen had all the items we needed, the beds were comfortable, the weather didn't do what we wanted but the house was cozy and clean and a great place to hang out when the rain came in.

Great Place for fishing and R&R

I booked this house based on the reviews. The house did not disappoint. It was clean and well stocked with all the basic essentials. Texas has been having a heat wave and the AC did a phenomenal job! The room with 2 single beds is actually down stairs and has it's own bathroom with shower. This was great for our adult daughter that came with us to have her own privacy. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The house rules are not unreasonable and neither were the "please do this before you leave" rules. The neighbors were friendly and would chat with the guys if they were out fishing the canal in the backyard. The beach is not far away. Food trucks (BBQ and Mexican, by the drive through liquor store) had great food as well as The Crab Trap. If you are not familiar with Sargent Beach, it is a fishing town, it is peaceful. There is a a Dollar General and Dollar Tree/Family Dollar within a few miles (stores are located right next to each other), but grocery stores are about 20 miles away, so bring your groceries with you. We were glad we did. We brought an UTV with us and used it to tootle around within the neighborhood and to get food for dinner. This is a great house, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely

Spring break with the family &’ we all enjoyed it. The home was lovely, the kids had lots of fun. Although we didn’t catch Much fish everyone had a great getaway 🙂

Christmas on the coast.

This home was perfect for our Christmas vacation. The beds were very comfortable. Wifi televisions in every room. House was stocked with everything you would need. The owner personally reached out to make the experience easy and fun. We will be back.

Great stay on the water!

Had a great stay and was able to park the boat right out front and head out onto the water. Communication was great and my family and I really enjoyed the property. The older kids loved the opportunity to sleep in the bunk house on their own! Will definitely book again there next time we’re in Sargent.

Great place to stay.

The place was so clean and nice also, Joshua with Vrbo was awesome the communication was outstanding in the future I will only deal with Joshua if possible. I'm going to rent the same beach house in October for my birthday. I give the beach house and Joshua five stars. My Mon rented one on the same street and it was horrible roach's every were they had to stay will us for the last day.

Joshua was great to deal with, Greta communication. House was very clean and set up really nice with open concept living space. The woman loved the decor and the AC worked great .Will most likely be planning a return trip and stay here again

Great Getaway

Stayed here for 2 nights. House was very clean. Enjoyed fishing in the canal off the dock. It was a short drive to the beach and bait stands. Neighbors were quiet and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Fishing Trip

My family takes several coast fishing trips every year but this was our first time to Sargent. We really liked the community and the fishing was great. The house was super clean, organized and comfortable. We appreciated the contact from the property host and all the information that was offered. This was our scouting trip of the area as well as the house for future fishing trips. We hopefully will be able to plan a future trip to this great property.

Rental was clean in a safe neighborhood

The living and two bedrooms upstairs were very clean and nice. However, the room downstairs was smelly and the small ac unit was noisy. We were unable to use the beds downstairs. Other than that everything was very nice.
