The White House is located on the Kawkawlin River in Bay City, MI! This offers beautiful views of the Saginaw Bay (150 yards from the Bay) & a great location to park your boat with the private dock! We also own the property next door & can be booked if dates allow for multiple families! |FREE private boat slip|Private beach|Retreat is located less than a mile from our taverns, party store, and bait shop|Large retailers and restaurants are less than 3 miles away with antique shops along with great downtown shopping|House also has access point to the Rail Trail connecting to downtown|This property is the perfect for boaters and fisherman, or escape to just relax and watch boat traffic. Surveillance cameras on the exterior of the house for security purposes only.

I had to find a way to contact the host the day before to find out how to get in. She had not contacted me since I booked. vrbo said I was all set but the host had not given info. Once I contacted her, she responded and gave us the information.

Girls Trip

Three friends and I came up from Ohio for a girls trip/birthday party. We had a fabulous time! The house has a wonderful patio with views of both the Saginaw River and Saginaw Bay. The house has plenty of room and was comfortable for us. Thank you!

Perfect Get Away

Highly recommend The WhiteHouse. First of all, Jessica responded to all questions quickly before we booked, and when arrived response always quick , no leaving you hanging for response. House is awesome, clean, lots room , nice kitchen and supply’s almost everything you need The two guys in our party are fishermen, and back porch with 2 doors was also so nice to put all the fishing stuff, coolers and supplied a fish cleaning table They did a charter first , caught limit of walleye. Then caught more on their own , And like all the comments, the patio was amazing right on river with mouth of Saginaw Bay right there. Enjoyed watching all the boats going up and down river , at times a convoy of them. Friday night had a lighted boat parade, was so entertaining. , the ducks always swimming and on the docks enjoyed as well The restaurant on the river went to by boat was very good. Able to dock boat right at the patio ! Us 2 girls did a lot of driving to different towns everyday. Cannot complain about anything. Thank you for sharing such a nice property , hope to return again !

Beautiful view!

Perfect location if you love to fish the Saginaw Bay! The White House was perfect…comfortable, clean, and the perfect location. We enjoyed the convenience to many nice restaurants in the Bay City area, as well as golf courses along and near M-13. Jessica is an awesome host! Thanks for a wonderful week of fishing, golfing, and relaxing in the Bay Area!

Perfect Getaway!

This home was impeccable upon our arrival. The location is amazing, and the view was beyond beautiful. This home was a peaceful getaway! The neighborhood is quiet, the home backs up onto the water for fishing, and the fire pit allowed us to relax and take in the view.

Met family here. Plenty of seating/ room for everyone. Property just as pictured and described. Owner very responsive to questions. Property clean. Really enjoyed sitting on back porch watching boats go by. Would recommend!

Bass fishing

The house was great! Very very clean with updated amenities. Three buddies and I stayed a week and were very pleased with how the property accommodated two bass boats without issue. Just 5 minutes from the DNR boat ramp at the mouth of the bay. The bass fishing was fantastic as well. We booked a day of walleye fishing with Nick at Bay Charters and had an absolute blast as well. Highly recommend him if you want a true professional guide that goes above and beyond. Five stars!

Fish Heaven

We caught so much walleye and several other species of fish! Great location for kayaking or docking your boat. The cottage is way more spacious than it appears in the photos. The host was quick to respond and very helpful.

A great experience and location

We went here with nothing planned other than relaxation. It was so peaceful just sitting outside and watching the boats go down the canal and up and down Lake Huron. We noticed there was high winds on the other side of the canal but we were sheltered by neighboring houses and trees most of the time. The house inside is spacious and really enjoyable to stay in. Our nephews really enjoyed fishing off the dock. This was our second time there and would definitely look and see if its available for our next trip. You are also very close to downtown Bay City and several great restaurants so all kinds of activities are available if you so choose.

We had a girls trip coming from all over the country back to our home town. We had a wonderful time. We will most likely do this more often. The White House was perfect for us.
