"A great stay at the Woodpaddock in May 2025 for a weekend visiting family. Denise was super helpful throughout my stay, even before I had arrived!
On arrival, there was a warm welcome, fresh milk and tea & coffee. Greatly welcomed after a long journey.
I stayed in room 4, a self contained double room which was perfectly fine for my needs. It had a bedroom, lounge with TV, shower room and kitchen with toaster, microwave and oven.

"The guest house is a lovely older building type, very comfortable and very close (6 minutes on foot) to the city center. The lovely Kevin and Vicky make us feel very welcome and well taken care of, making sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. "Really comfortable. Amazing hosts. The owner spent some time with us both during our stay and just before we left. He shared his experience and great knowledge of his animals with us and ultimately made us feel extremely welcome. The facilities were very well thought out from the welcome pack to even providing mobile phone power packs. Overall, faultless. "

"I have stayed at the Bull Hotel once before because I live in Skegness and I needrd to catch an early train from Peterborough. So, when I needed to do the same thing the Bull was the obvious place to stay. There is plenty of parking, with two EV chargers. I programmed my car's sat nav with 3 Fitzwilliam Street Peterborough as the archway over the entrance to the carpark is immediately to the left of number 3. "Great little hotel above an English Pub. Was relatively quiet after the pub closed. Great central location, friendly staff, wonderful food. No air conditioning but they did provide a couple of fans and we kept the window open so that cooled the room well enough. The beds were a bit on the firm side but overall was a great room. "
"This is a lovely old pub, so one needs to remember things may be a trifle warn. That being said, the shower was hot, the bathroom floor was heated, but grout missing in some of the floor tlies. The food served in the restaurant was AMAZING and the staff were friendly and helpful. I can't thank them enough for making my stay so enjoyable. "
