Gutshof Superior Studios II - Gutshof Bastorf/ Urlaub an der Ostsee in Mecklenburg

These studios are located on the first floor of the thatched-roof barns and each features one or two terraces.
They measure approximately 50 square meters and were completely renovated and refurnished in 2022. The kitchen is fully equipped; there is a bedroom with a double box-spring bed and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A crib can be provided.

Welcome to the Bastorf Estate

Nestled among venerable thatched-roof barns on the Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania lies the Bastorf Estate, a farm complex that has evolved over centuries -
just a stone’s throw from the Baltic Sea resorts of Rerik and Kühlungsborn.

Surrounded by nature—the sea, wind, meadows, fields, hills, and sky—Gutshof Bastorf welcomes its guests.
Wide, natural beaches, gently rolling fields, the surprising slopes of the Kühlung, long hiking trails, impressive sunsets, and a heavenly, sun-drenched sense of peace and tranquility melt away the stresses of everyday life.

With its double rooms, vacation apartments, and studios, the Bastorf Estate offers you the opportunity to spend your well-deserved vacation in peace and quiet amidst historic surroundings. Our farm market, with its large sun terrace, is open daily during the season. Here, you can start your day with our morning country breakfast, if you wish. In addition to the large garden with its numerous spots to relax and daydream, the property also features a playground, a barbecue area, and, of course, the large sauna house, which is open year-round.

Please refer to the respective descriptions for details on the amenities and additional costs of our accommodations, or feel free to call us if you have any questions. All vacation apartments and studios are cleaned after checkout for a final cleaning fee (depending on the size of the unit). You have the option to choose between a linens package (bed linens and towels) for 10.00 EUR per person or bringing your own linens. If you wish to make up the beds yourself, the service fee of 10.00 EUR per bed will be waived. Please let us know your decision regarding this at least two days before arrival. Otherwise, we will provide the linens and bedding service per person and charge you accordingly, as stated in your confirmation.

Dogs are welcome in certain accommodations. Please be sure to ask before arrival whether your room selection is suitable. One dog may be accommodated per unit. The dog accommodation fee is 15.00 EUR per night (outside of the dog season, which begins in late fall).

Payment of the total amount for your reservation must be made in advance via bank transfer or by providing your credit card information no later than 14 days before arrival. Please find the relevant bank details for a transfer below.

Self-check-in is available in the main building of the estate from 3:00 PM until late.
At that time, your arrival information and room key will be waiting for you.
Check-out is available until 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Depending on the category you booked, one free parking space (for standard-sized cars!) is available per vacation rental. If you need an additional one, please contact us in advance. Depending on availability, we may be able to accommodate this request. Please understand that parking (and using) larger RVs on our property is prohibited.

Depending on the season, we offer breakfast at our Hof-Markt upon registration by the day before. During the off-season from October 15 to March 30, we offer breakfast for groups of 10 or more.
Breakfast costs 16.50 EUR per person per day. Children ages 6 to 12 pay 11.50 EUR; children ages 3 to 5 pay 5.00 EUR.

For those who prefer to prepare their own breakfast, a daily bread roll service is available upon request. You can also purchase everything else you need for your own breakfast at our Hof-Markt. 

A storage area is available for your bicycles. Parking your bicycles in front of your own apartment or in the building hallways is not permitted, nor is charging e-bike batteries in the rooms. Appropriate charging stations are available in the bicycle area.

Depending on the rate you booked, free cancellation of your reservation may not be possible or may be allowed 1 to 14 days before arrival. You can find your specific cancellation policy listed under the name of the rate you booked.
