"The house itself is so cool and unique- really beautiful! I also so much appreciate that the beds are comfy, nice quality sheets and pillows, and nice fluffy bath towels. Sometimes rental owners skimp on those- not here. Also had a little snafu with the house- nobody’s fault- and the owners were so kind and responsive to my needs. They are wonderful and attentive people and truly care that their guests have an amazing experience."

"I rented this house recently with a group of 9 girls. When we arrived our group was over-the-moon with the location, quality, and personality of the home! Just touring the home when we first arrived was an adventure itself. With its multitude of rooms, games, and amenities we were fully prepared for a fantastic weekend! The owners were also very helpful and easy to contact with any questions we had! 100/10 would recommend this house as your next place to stay!"

"We found the property clean and perfect for our needs. The host was gracious and the loft was well supplied. They sell farm fresh beef and eggs. We had the eggs for breakfast each morning, what a treat. We would recommend Hollow Rule to anyone staying in the area."

"This was a beautiful new log house across the street from a spacious park and across the street from the Wisconsin River. It’d be a great staging spot for starting or ending a canoe/kayak trip on the river. The house is essentially new construction and made (entirely) of pine. The smell is fantastic. The check-in process was easy and the property manager made sure to let us know they were available if we had any needs. We enjoyed our stay. Just wish we could have adjusted our schedule to stay...

"Could not have had a better birthday at this cabin! All 15 guests had sleeping arrangements and all comfortable. Ethan and his family were incredibly responsive and tended to our EVERY NEED! Very rural area, beautiful large cabin! Sauna was a lovely bonus! If you’re looking for a place to celebrate and relax- look no further! 5 stars- easily! Thank you for the opportunity to create memories with our big crew!"

"This was an awesome little place where the river was so close that we could touch it. Lots of wildlife, including the resident beaver, muskrat, very tame groundhogs that I was able to pet and many song birds. In addition, the hosts were very friendly and the beautiful flower and local cheese waiting for us was a special touch. Loved it."

"My partner and I spent a long weekend here and completely enjoyed ourselves. The house is serene and perfectly tidy. We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch watching birds on the water. This property is also a great home base for exploring other interesting towns in the area: Boscobel, Viroqua, Spring Green, etc. We will definitely be back!"

"Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! Our family (three generations) made some wonderful memories in the pool, by the campfire, playing games, and hiking the beautiful trails. The property was absolutely beautiful all around and perfect for a peaceful family retreat in the countryside. Jamie was extremely responsive and helpful with anything we needed. "Nicely appointed, 2 story, 2 bathroom, 3 bedroom home located on a dirt, wooded road. The property is in great condition and very clean. Everything you need is assessible. Washer dryer, dish washer, full kitchen, living area, dining table and chairs downstairs, with wet bar, large couch, large tv, and wine fridge upstairs. 20 minutes to Spring Green. Plenty of parking. Short drive to Mescoda for dinner and to House on the Rock golf!"
