Amazing 7 Castles Views! Privacy only 7 Minutes from Basalt Town

Enjoy summer in the Colorado mountains -easy access to Basalt, across the road from the Frying Pan River with world class fishing, and 30 minutes to Aspen/Snowmass. This home in the 7 Castles area of the Frying Pan offers privacy, amazing views, and access to a couple miles of walking trail above the house. The house has 3 bedrooms with new King beds (2 ensuite), an open plan living/dining area, and 5 acres to run around. You will have access to Starlink for internet/phone use. Come and enjoy!

We welcome quiet, peaceful guests to come and enjoy our home. This is our family home which we rent while we travel for extended periods. We do ask that only respectful guests come stay. This is a quiet, peaceful location and we do not wish to disturb the neighbors with rowdy visitors (no parties). I am happy to provide a description of the home and access so you know what to expect:

The house is in a beautiful setting about 7 minutes up the Frying Pan from the town of Basalt with amazing Seven Castles views. The home is accessed by a gravel road. (4WD is not needed, but we do recommend using 4WD or AWD if you have it in order to maintain the road). The downstairs has an open plan living / dining / kitchen area and a half bath. There is also a bonus room (not pictured) that has a TV and couch. A sunroom with sliding doors offers some great indoor / outdoor space with views towards the river.

Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms with King beds. The master has an ensuite bathroom with large bath tub and separate shower. There is also a sitting area by the bathroom with a desk which you are welcome to utilize. The 2nd bedroom with king bed has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The 3rd bedroom has a king bed and there is a separate bathroom in the hall with a bath/shower unit.

The house has starlink which we use for internet / phone. I have AT&T which does not get much service at the house but I am able to work from home, use internet, and receive and make calls using the Starlink. Verizon has slightly better service, but I would count on using the Starlink provided for calls and internet.

The house itself is an older home but is very comfortable and offers a great space to enjoy the surrounding regions. Please note that the photos are old and some of the furniture/bedding has since been updated. Newer photos to come once available. We do prefer not to have young children stay since some of the railings have large gaps that could present a hazard.

The river can be accessed at public access points - the closest of which is about a mile up the road. Ruedi Reservoir is about 20 minutes from the house.

The guests can use the whole house and land, EXCEPT the following:

-Attic which can usually be accessed by spiral stairs and will be marked as closed

-Deck above the garage

-Garage

-Locked owners cupboards with our personal belongings

-Sheds
