"Listing says there's one bed and one bathroom. It also says there's a toilet and a shower in the bathroom - the toilet is a bucket with a plastic bucket seat and the shower is an outdoor hanging bag. No running water - just a cooler. Calling it a "cabin" is a stretch."

"We loved the convenience of being close to family in Bayfield. Previously we have stayed in hotels in Durango and were glad not to have to drive back and forth to Durango every day. The cabin was in such a pretty setting by the river. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy the property, we hope to return! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The host said we could bring an air mattress, so each grandchild spent a night with us also. Perfect! "

"Our stay at the cottonwood cabin was absolutely amazing! The property is so nice and so clean the cabin is really pretty and the yard was perfect for my dogs. The host Ry was also very nice and prompt to respond for all of our questions and concerns. We have been staying at Vrbo properties since Abe’s shutdown and this is by far the best we have ever stayed at! We will be back next year for more! "

"This house is gorgeous, the views unmatched and it has everything you need. We were so happy here until we were charged extra because the place was too messy upon our departure. By mess they mean, used towels on floor and some tissues in bathroom. Make sure the place looks like you were never ever there or you will get your security deposit kept. "

"Another wonderful stay at this cabin. My sisters and I enjoyed our stay here as our elderly uncle lives up the road. So convenient getting to our uncle every day. We enjoyed nice showers and the washer/dryer as our trip was a working vacation at our uncle’s ranch. We will be back again. "

"Everything I wanted in a getaway. Perfect little cabin, fenced yard for my fur babies ( Maggie & Bailey) right on the river, balcony to enjoy the beautiful evening sky, trout fishing, guide fishing if you want just up the road ( we went and caught lots of salmon) Ken from the Real Deal is the best ! Aztec is just up the road if you need anything. Our host wss great and very helpful aw needed! We will be back many times! I recommend you check it out! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Lisa D"
