"The house is lovely with the best equipped kitchen we’ve ever had, a stunning domed roof ceiling in the bedroom, good shower, comfortable bed and good internet so ticks lots of boxes. It is on the edge of town and has some industrial neighbours which made it very noisy. Happy folks are working hard but it is something to know about. It’d be best to have a car or rent bicycles if staying here as taxis were hard to come by at least when we were there. The walk into town was about 18 minutes. If...

"This was an extremely clean well maintained suite. Our view of the fishing boats on the canal was interesting to watch from our deck. We used the heated pool and relaxed on the deck chairs every day! The hosts were very helpful in every way even giving us their own fan on a hot still day. We hope to be back next year for a longer stay."

"We have experienced several stays in Manzanillo and this was the best by far. Can’t beat the location and views. Grandson loved the pool and beach right at the doorstep. Lots of room in the apartment for everyone. Small but well stocked kitchen. Recommend "

"My brother and I stayed at Villa La Joya for three nights and enjoyed the entire time. The hosts bent over backwards to make us comfortable and even took the time to discuss life in Barra de Navidad and surrounding areas. The villa is beautifully appointed with lots of space for the two of us. The location was excellent, situated on a canal, but still close to the ocean.
