"Lovely hotel , breakfast was excellent , very good restaurant too. Room was very comfortable. Love the possibility of borrowing boots to walk around the park close by. Staff very helpful and kind, specially at the restaurant . "

"Everything about this property was perfect. Lovely clean room with modern power shower beautifully tiled. Lots of little extras such as luxury soap, shower gel, body lotion. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets and a small bottle of milk each day, not to mention the little chocolates and hot chocolate and biscuits. A small fridge with ice box in the room and of course a kettle. They just enjoyed adding those extra touches which make all the difference. The outdoor pool and sunbeds were perfect...

"There is a photo of a Jacuzzi bath on the garden rooms. I thought I would pay extra for a jacuzzi bath but I was told that was only in the bridal suite, I was very disappointed and felt this was blatantly misleading so it’s worth considering that, they should change the picture really! Also I think they need a new kettle in the room, it looked very scaly and dirty, (see photo)."

"V disappointing stay. Booked a superior room, which looked very nice on Expedia. Unfortunately our room looked nothing like the pictures online, the decor was very tired especially the bathroom which had paint flaking off the walls. Further, the room was very hot and with the need to open windows, very noisy due to the road in front of the hotel. "Property a little dated but clean and functional. Lovely staff very happy to help. We were upgraded to an executive suite which had a 4 poster bed. Very nice and unexpected."

"Nice room, with excellent bathroom. The outside needs tidying up and some painting, so we were initially concerned when we arrived, but the rooms were fine. Nice quiet location too. The cafe is shut due to staff illness, looks like has been for a while but the Two Flags cafe a mile down the road is excellent for all day breakfasts, especially if you like motorbikes."
