Overall a good experience. The check in process was very easy & Victor was responsive, fast, friendly, & explained everything. The apartment was clean, spacious enough for the 3 of us, & is in a very convenient location to restaurants & a grocery store, with easy access to public transportation & cabs. Quieter than more touristy areas but bring earplugs if you're used to no noise at night.
Unfortunately there were guests that were extremely loud in the night & through 3-4 in the morning. Physical & verbal fighting & screaming in their room, stairwell, & out front. I called & left a message for Bonavista but did not hear back for 2 days. I called again as we were on day 3 of this & was told that no one had checked messages & that the guests had checked out. The lack of response to the issue was very concerning & left us with little sleep & less time to enjoy Barcelona.
Also one day someone walked right into the apartment saying that he was there to fix the ac unit.. in January. The apartment policies state that no one will enter the premises unless communicated in advance - no one reached out to us. I had an international plan that kept my phone working but no call. I called Bonavista & was told that he needed to fix the ac/heating unit & that they were trying to repair everything since it was the start of a new year. We agreed he would not enter the apartment until after we left. We would stay again but communication & action on issues needs improvement.
