Podere Tignano, 4-bedroom villa in the Chianti!

Podere Tignano is located on the gentle green hills of Chianti between Florence and Siena, Podere Tignano enjoys stunning views of the countryside surrounding with grain fields, vineyards and olive groves. The villa has been completely refurbished maintaining its original structural characteristics such as the stone walls, wooden beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. Furnishings are also made using mostly traditional materials as wood and wrought iron but with a careful eye to all the modern appliances to ensure maximum comfort.

The many windows and the French doors give brightness and light to the villa. It is the ideal starting base for daytrips to nearby hilltop villages, the most important Tuscan cities of art and the famous wine producing farms of the area.

ACCOMODATION: The villa is 180 square meters and can accommodate 8 persons in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. It extends on two levels:

Ground floor: On the ground floor is a large L-shaped area with kitchen and dining table with direct access to the outdoor pergola organized with tables and chairs for your al fresco dinners. Brick arches divide this area to the living room area with sofas and TV (Amazon prime video e Disney+ available). Also on the same level is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

First floor: From the living room a staircase leads to the first floor where there are 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin) and 2 bathrooms with showers.

Air conditioning will be available only in the 4 bedrooms. Ceiling fans are available in all bedrooms and the living room.

NOTE: In a section of the villa live the owners who are animal lovers. They are always available but invisible when not needed. A visit to their Alpaca breeding farm is provided for all villa guests. The visit offers a chance to see these beautiful animals up close, along with them you will find calves, geese, rabbits, sheep and chickens, as well as the workshop where 100% alpaca clothing is produced in natural tones. It will be a great experience for adults and children alike!

GARDEN & SWIMMING POOL: The perfectly manicured lawn in the garden area is completed with flower pots and shady trees. The refreshing pool (6 x 14 meters and min. depth 1 meters - max. depth 2 meters), for the exclusive use of the clients, gives you relief from the hottest summer days. It is fully equipped with sun lounges, chairs and sofas. Here you can relax and read a book or enjoy a glass of wine with friends and family. Outdoor barbecue and pizza oven are available.

Upon request, dinners with typical Tuscan products or a pizza party can be arranged by the owners.
