This place is nice, located in a beautiful, secluded location. Chances are you will enjoy your stay. You will pay a good amount of cleaning fee but also need to take your trash with you since there is no dumpster nearby. We had to carry our trash in our car until we found a public garbage bin.Although our stay was enjoyable, post-stay experience was anything but. The host charged us 250 dollars for a damaged towel hanger, which did not occur during our stay. The host does not stay at the property but uses a third party service for maintenance and he falsely accused of us causing the damage based on their reporting.The pre-existing damage was minor enough that my friends did not think much of it let alone feel the need to report it when they first saw it. We were accused because a third party noticed an existing damage after our stay and we were then asked to prove our innocence. I don’t think this is reasonable. By this logic, the host would be able to charge any damage that has gone unnoticed to the next guest. I don’t believe he would; this is just to demonstrate the weakness of the logic. The host also suggested perhaps my friends were not being honest when they said the damage was already there because he trusts his cleaning personnel. The same argument could be made against his team, however. Or simply that the damage was done by a previous guest, pushed the towel hanger back to fix the damage, and it slowly deteriorated. But he would hear none of it.
