Clean, great staff, great location.
We had low expectations for this 3-night stay but it ended up being our favorite accommodation on our 11 night trip to the NorthEast. Great location, clean and quiet room. Staff very helpful.

Small but nice room, could have used some better pillow options, there were only two pillows on the bed and they were too thick. Hot beverages and drinks in the office 24hrs but non in the rooms.

Hotel was in a great location close to downtown, the room was super clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was an easy walk to all the shops and restaurants, but quiet where we were. The property was very clean and offered housekeeping everyday which was a welcome change from recent hotels we've stayed in. The office staff was incredibly nice and helpful, even helping us choose the best activities to do with limited time. We would definitely stay there again!

Excellent place to stay
Loved this place. All of the ladies were wonderful, and loved how the lobby area was available before and after office hours. I highly recommend Island Place for your next stay in Bar Harbor.

Such an easy walk to the dining and shopping areas, but far enough away that you are able to enjoy a quiet evening on the porch if that’s your fancy for the night.

This is a wonderful, small hotel. Only 10 rooms. Very clean. The location was excellent making walking to everything easy.The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave suggestions and help when we asked about local activities. I cant say enough nice things about the entire experience.

This place was very clean and convenient to walk to restaurants and shops. The room was nice and bed was super comfortable. I would stay here again because it was one of the most affordable in the area. Did I mention how clean everything felt? Super clean room and property!

A beautiful little gem in the heart of Bar Harbor. The proprietors were extremely nice, sociable, offered great advice on restaurant / Acadia park options, and had answers to all of our questions. If we are fortunate enough to make it back to this beautiful area, we will be booking at Island Place again.

Our stay at Island Place was wonderful! We went to Bar Harbor at a very busy time of year and it was a MAJOR plus to park at IP and be able to walk to the village center. Everything we needed to get to (restaurants, bars and shopping) was in walking distance. The room was clean, the shower was hot, and the staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend staying at IP if you are visiting Bar Harbor.

Great place to stay in Bar Harbor. Walk to everything, off street parking and the staff is friendly and helpful. The porch is a great place to sit after a day of hiking or shopping.

This property was clean and well manicured. Staff was friendly and helpful to newcomers to the area. The location was less than a 10 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops Bar Harbor offers as well as a 5 minute drive to beautiful Acadia National park. Would definitely stay again when we return!
