Description: Located in the beautiful development of Echota on the Ridge, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom main floor (entry level, no stairs) condo is perfect for your next vacation. This condo is fully furnished with everything you would need for a long retreat or a short weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the living room is inviting with a gas log fireplace and amazing mountain views. Curl up, get cozy and read a book, watch TV or take a nap…. the choice is yours! Guests of this unit have access to the deck from the living room or primary bedroom where they can breathe in fresh mountain air while gazing at the mountains and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax or an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. 

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor (seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

Property was wiped down but not particularly clean. Bed in master doesn’t feel like a queen and it doesn’t fit the queen headboard; sheets were too small for the bed. Both beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. Check in and out process was easy. Plenty of blankets to keep warm at night. Kitchen well stocked. Great view.

Great stay!

We would stay here again! Great location and easy to access all surrounding areas. Space is sufficient! My only small complaints were that there seemed to lots of spray/fragrance on the beds which gives me a terrible headache and that the rooms were still bright in the evenings when the kiddos are going to bed due to the sheer curtains - just my own personal preferences. Would stay again!

Short but fun snow trip!

We picked this spot because we were determined to find some snow fun and everything we wanted to do was no more than 15-20 min away. We snowtubed at Hawksnest which was so much fun. We also went "gem mining which was very close by and ice-skating at Sugar Mountain. There is a cute "downtown" with shops and restaurants, but it was quite busy since we were there over New Years. Home is exactly as described. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, but be sure to bring your own essentials like oils, spices, and above all, coffee! Beds were *very* comfortable--I slept great! We forgot to bring bathing suits so we didn't get to use the indoor pool and hot tub, but maybe next time. On our last night it actually snowed! My kiddos were thrilled since it rarely snows in Atlanta, but thankfully not so much snow that we had trouble getting back down the mountain. The drive up and down to the main road wasn't difficult, but I don't think I would have been comfortable without AWD/4WD. Overall a great spot. Highly recommend.

Thanksgiving get away

Lovely Place!

This place was just as advertised. Very clean. Kitchen well-stocked. Views absolutely gorgeous. The neighborhood was beautiful to drive through. I will definitely rent this place again. You will love it.

The property was clean and has great mountain charm. We had a couple of changes in our arrival and departure and the owner was easy to get ahold of and quick to respond. We ended up staying an extra day to enjoy all the snow!

Mountaintop location

Very nice apartment on a ridge near Boone and Foscoe. We went in February for skiing and it is very close to Sugar Mountain. Well-stocked kitchen and cozy fireplace. Lovely view off the balcony. Very clean with plenty of towels.

Great location with great views.

Echota in the drive view condo

Very clean, well stocked and comfortable condo. The only issue I had was locating the information on how to turn on water and hot water. The instructions are in the inside of the door on laundry closet. Otherwise, everything t was great!
