Wild Daisy is a luxury retreat nestled in the trees of Beech Mountain, North Carolina. With several large windows, you’ll feel immersed in nature from the inside out. Take in the serene views & tranquil sounds of a nearby creek from the outdoor living space, which includes a covered back deck, a beautiful sauna house and a heated spa. It’s the perfect romantic or relaxing getaway for couples or an idyllic retreat for small families wanting to unplug and enjoy quality time.

The space:
Abode Beech Mountain provides both privacy and seclusion while being a short distance from the Blue Ridge Parkway and all that the quaint town of Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, & the rest of the High Country has to offer.

A short 6 minute drive will take you to the Beech Mountain Ski Slope, shops & restaurants

4x4 or AWD required to safely access property. Sedan body style vehicles not recommended.

A two bedroom, and one full bathroom Scandinavian-style cottage. It is a craftsman build with high-end finishes & includes stunning features such as exposed wooden beams throughout. The upstairs is a beautiful loft, accessible via a ladder featured in the listing photos, where you'll find a generous king-size bed as a secondary sleeping space & room to enjoy games, books, puzzles, and more.. or perhaps work remotely.

This cottage is thoughtfully curated with organic mattresses and linens in the bedrooms, a kitchen equipped with non-toxic cookware, and personal care items that are organic as well as fragrance-free. Our wonderful hospitality specialist renews the space for each guest using safe, eco-friendly cleaning products.

Finally, this Abode offers unique amenities to enhance your stay, including an upscale coffee & tea experience, a portable TV to enjoy a movie or show inside or on the back porch, as well as workout equipment including yoga mats, a TRX system, kettle bells & a recovery massage gun.

Room details:

Living Room:
The cozy living room with large, surrounding windows bring the feeling of outdoors inside with a direct entrance onto the back deck, sauna house & heated spa. Enjoy the modern wood stove from the leather couch while you drink a glass of wine or read a book from our small selection. Utilize our smart, portable TV inside or out (with careful use) to stream on a platform of your choice - such as Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, etc. Please bring your own logins and passwords. Finally, enjoy a delicious meal or work a puzzle at our dining table, which comfortably seats four.

Kitchen:
You’ll find the kitchen to be fully stocked with non-toxic cooking utensils and appliances including:

• Full size range & oven
• Full size fridge & freezer
• Microwave, instant pot, toaster & blender
• Olive oil, salt, pepper
• Grill utensils + fire roasting sticks
• Nespresso machine with milk frother, stocked with pods featuring multiple roast profiles and organic syrups
• Stove top kettle with a small selection of organic tea

Bedroom:
The downstairs bedroom features an organic queen size mattress with luxury, organic sheets, pillows and duvet. You’ll also find robes for each season in the closet for your enjoyment.

Loft:
The upstairs loft boasts an organic king-size mattress with the same luxurious, organic sheets, pillows, and duvet. You’ll stay comfortable in this space year-round with a portable heater and fan. Be sure to explore the shelves to find games, puzzles, and kid friendly activities.

Deck:
The back deck features seating for four around a concrete fire pit, a propane grill, a sunken hot tub & sauna house complete with a shower.

* Security camera monitors driveway and can not see any outdoor social areas.

Guest access
The Driveway is gravel and well-maintained, but we do require 4x4 or AWD to safely access the property.

The day before check-in, you will receive a text message with your door code for access.

Other things to note
During the winter months, road conditions in this area can be snowy and icy combined with steep roads. For your safety and peace of mind, when snow is on the ground all-wheel drive (AWD) or 4x4 is required by law to commute up the mountain. We also suggest carrying tire chains as the weather can change quickly. Please plan accordingly to ensure a smooth and safe arrival at the property.
