"The cottage was beautiful, warm and cosy, there was plenty of wood for the lovely open fire.. It had everything that we needed.The bath was lovely to relax in after a days Skiing at Glen Shee. The town of Ballater was lovely with a good Indian restaurant and Chinese take away. We would definitely visit again."

The cottage is newly renovated and has been done beautifully providing a cosy and comfortable place to stay in the fantastic surroundings of the Spey Valley. "We’ve just had a lovely weekend at the Old Stables. We really enjoyed the large, open plan kitchen/living/dining area, the hot tub and sauna and the very impressive cinema room. The house was very clean and Hazel was a great host, providing all the details we needed and very responsive to messages. Alyth is a nice wee village and the whole area is absolutely gorgeous. We had a terrific walk in the Den of Alyth and a glorious day at Glamis Castle which is very close by. "
