"An amazing hidden gem! A lovely setting, the pub was great with a huge beer garden and play area and the hotel was lovely and clean and VERY quiet - we didnt hear other people inside or out on any of the 3 nights we stayed. Beer garden was right outside our window and very busy with families and kids playing football but could not hear a peep in the room. Room also had air con but wasnt very good, and we used our Shark fan we had brought from home knowing it was a hot weather week. We ate in the...
"All staff I encountered where exceptionally friendly and helpful with good knowledge of local area. Lovely choices of full hot and cold buffet breakfast. Fantastic evening meals in the restaurant, though limited choice if staying more than two nights. Amazing location just a few hundred yards from the Cathedral and Castle at a reasonable price. Very clean comfortable room overlooking the Cathedral with everything you need. Best sleep ever! Definitely returning."

At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. The only thing I would like to see is the amenities in the bathroom more eco friendly. Liquid hand soap as opposed to a bar. Some hotels even have the dispensers in the showers. "I had an amazing relaxing night at the Urban rRetreat Hotel Grantham. The receptionist was lovely and even upgraded my room. I slept so well due to the feelings of luxury and safety. I look forward to returning in a couple of weeks. The hotel was very good value. Cheapest with own bathroom in Grantham though no one would ever know !1"

When I went to dinner my choice, battered haddock wasn't available, i think on a Saturday early evening this is totally unacceptable.
The shower screen had black mould along the bottom which had been sealed in with sillicon, the kettle lid was broken making a refil almost impossible and the hairdryer had no nozzle to style my hair..
Resulting in "I won't be booking with you again".
