"Overall, the house was good. However, the portable AC isn't really portable so the bedrooms got rather warm. We were fortunate that the weather wasn't hot as I imagine it would get really hot in the house if the temps had been in the 80s or 90s. It's a bit dated but had what we needed to cook meals, do laundry and hang out after the bike races. It was close to downtown which was really nice."

"Stayed at the Wisdom House with a group of friends while we took motorcycle rides each day. This is our second time staying at the Wisdom House and it's such a beautiful property. It has everything you need, lots of space for gathering in the dining room, kitchen, living room and backyard. I loved the chair swing in the backyard which wasn't there during our 2020 visit. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you for having such a great option for groups to stay comfortably!"

"Beautiful drive to get there from McCall to Half Way. We did end up calling the host for our check in code as the internet is spotty at times. This site gave us a place to stay before and after taking the Hells Canyon Jet Boat tour. Very clean and nicely decorated unit. Washer and Dryer was a nice bonus. Bed was comfortable. The town of Half Way is small, but has a well stocked grocery store (Old Pine Market). Each room had a TV. After our 2nd night, We opted to eat breakfast at the Cow Camp...

"When we first drove to the property, I was a little concerned. The route passes through what appears to be private property, and the area is still being developed. However, any concerns disappeared once we arrived.The property was wonderful. We spent most of our time outdoors enjoying views of Pine Creek, listening to the water, and watching spectacular sunsets. Evenings around small fires by the creek were especially memorable.While the home is not large, it is thoughtfully designed and well...

"This property is 100% better in person. Their dogs are so much fun and just want to hang out with you. so if you don't like dogs this might not be for you. You could not ask for a better place to stay. much bigger in person then in the photos."
