Jean, one of the owners, grew up spending vacations on the lake. A favorite spot of hers, and her father and his brothers before her was a remote sandy beach you could only access by boat. When the property came up for sale many years later, she and her husband Rob bought it. Working with a local conservation group, the character of the land has been preserved. 35 homes are spread out over the 1.5 mile stretch of the lake in a private community. Now the beach is a short walk away - and private to Jean and Rob's property. It's a very quiet spot, and remains, to many, the loveliest spot on the lake.

Located in the St. Croix River Valley, there are numerous river and lake trips minutes away. Two border crossings into New Brunswick Canada are 15 minutes away. Campobello Island is a one hour trip. Cutler to buy lobsters off the dock is 45 minutes away.
