"The location was beautiful. But the house was very dirty and in need of much repair. The water smelled like poop. The toilet in our room was filled with waste. The ceiling downstairs right by the kitchen had a huge hole and pipes exposed. The front door was broken and needed much repair. The patio out back was filthy the kitchen a complete mess with dishes stacked in the sink. They had cats and dogs in the house and while I was eating a cat jumped up in my lap. "I left an item in my room and couldn’t reach an employee to help me for days and days . They kept telling me someone would eventually call me back from housekeeping . The item was never found , meanwhile I was certain i left it in there , it was just a matter of forgetting to grab it . Awful customer service and untrustworthy staff"

"The room was not ready on time, even though we arrived early. They said they would get to cleaning it right away, and still it was not ready on time. The floors were still wet when we walked in. Staff were smoking near the entrance regularly with the doors wide open."

"On this trip, we stayed in 5 different hotels, and one (unnamed in Vergina was horrible to say the least) Our stay at the Candlewood was fantastic! Overall, the rooms were very clean and kept clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. On a long trip, it was a great add-on for the laundry room and had no additional cost to the guests. I would recommend it to anyone, and did to the family members that we went to visit. Thank you for the pleasant stay!"

"You get what you pay for. It wasn’t clean (hair all around the sink, stained sheets). It’s not a bad place to stay but I would recommend spending a little more for a higher quality hotel."

"I am a frequent traveler to this hotel. The hotel always clean and filled with nice amenities. I have noticed a mass change in staff members. That is a little concerning. But the stays is always great. I would love a bit more varieties in breakfast as i always struggle to find food that is appealing to me"
